You haven't mentioned facial exercises, but unless your doctor is incompetent s/he has booked you with a physiotherapist to teach you the exercises. I've treated a few people with Bell's Palsy. The first thing you learn is that there is a window of opportunity of 3 or 4 months in which to begin exercises and rehabilitate the facial muscles. After this window of opportunity not much progress can be made.
The herbs and medicines are supportive of this but the physiotherapy is by far the most powerful tool in regaining normal control and function.

Glad to hear that you are better. Perhaps I came on a bit strong, but it is because I've seen a few cases in which the doctor delayed physiotherapy till too late. I recall one case in which the doctor had to make absolutely sure whether it was a small stroke or Bells. The trouble is that physiotherapy is necessary in both these conditions and to a phsiotherapist the treatments are virtually identical. But as a result, the poor man has permanent paralysis on one side of his face with related symptoms. The situation was similar with two others that I've seen. It is very treatable but prompt action has to be taken. Pardon my mini-rant. The main thing is that you are back to normal or close to it.
