Ok, our bedroom, never really intended to be a bedroom in the first place is extrmemly hard to keep 'a personal sacred space.'

You enter into our room thru the kitchen so when our bedroom door is open, it is actually an extension of the kitchen. You have to go thru our room to go to the basement to do laundry, not o mention the whole enrgy issue with the bassement, so then everyone's dirty laundry goes thru my room. You have to go thru our room to go out the backdoor, which in itself is a major energy issue. The household computer is in our room, so eeryone hangs back here, and kind makes it a bit their space, so that's a whole violation of 'personal sacred space.'

Well on to the point of realizing I had 'fixed' the issue, energetically that is.

I had gone to get some decortion for the kitchen door, as the chili peppers and veggie, all plastic, just didn't fit the decor of the bedroom, since well the door that conceals our 'personal space' as a door, becomes part of the kitchen wall when open. So I needed something to keep the veggie thing going. Hubby has to have something hanging there, his Mom did, and so it shall stay.

So I found the braided garlic thing. As sooon as I hung it up, it felt right.

Tonight however I realized that while totally fake, they 'feel' real, therefore they are just as real as the real thing. It is as though, when I am on 'the bedroom side. I was lighting some incene and turning on my color light, that the room felt cut off, isolated, sacred. I waked across to the computer, and could feel the energy, a line of it.

With the door closed, the garlic is at exactly the line where we differentiate ours from public.

I looked up Garlic, and this is what I found.
GARLIC
G/P/E: Masculine, Mars, Fire.
Magical uses:A very protective herb, healing, good weather, courage, exorcism.

Seems I ofund a guardian who heals, as well as banishes all the bad energies.

Well shoot. Here I thought the bedroom we had when we were living in Douglas was a mess Embarassed . We had a walk in closet, the main bedroom door and a door leading out to the sunroom. But you got that beat. I didn't know that about garlic, though, and I love that stuff. Does anyone know what a ring of hematite stones near a front door means?

Blessings,

Loved Bisbee. reminded me of Crocket in Northern Cali. in case you're wondering about some of the letters not being capitalized, my da'-in-law's laptop is goofy. Who knows, mebe we'll meet when we (family that is) get a chance to head back out. But, work first.

Blessings,
Dasalyndel

Oops, forgot, actually the hemitite is supposed to be placed around the four corners of the yard as protection. My mum hadn't gotten around to it yet and my youngest kept trying to feed them to the gargoyles.

WOW. Thanks for the info on garlic. I will be looking for a half dozen or so braids to put around my apartment!! LOL. So much negativity makes it from the outside (apartment building needs to be flushed with garlic and sage from a crop duster on a regular basis). Plus the kids when they end their week with dad come so filled with the negativity from that house, it overwhelms some weeks.

Does hanging sage around the house do the same thing as burning? If so I might try hanging some sage indoors and outside my door. It seems like every other week or something every couple in the building is fighting and screaming. Just stepping outside onto the porch is like getting blasted with negativity. its gotten so bad at times I just say screw it and go to the bathroom to have my smoke.

I fully understand what you mean about the kids bringing home the negativity from the ex's visits bigolalaskan. I have the same thing, so a friend informed me of a piece of obsidian charged and placed unde the front door mat.

Obsidian - protective; repels negativity; transforms negative environment energies. Along with other great things. This did help us with helping to stop the energies coming in over the threshhold. I also combined a prayer to their higher selves to close their aura to all negative intentions so that they would only bring home good vibrations and release all negative before leaving their fathers. As I have too older and too younder it worked better to ask their higherselves to do the job.

As for the bedroom Novia, good thought about the garlic. Could you hang a mirror on the back of the door to the basement so the energies from down there reflect back down there and not into the bedroom.

Hmm, that is interesting. My bedroom currently is the living room, on my husband's days off we pull out the sofa bed..when he works I just sleep on the couch.
So, yeah, we have a lot of traffic all day and into the early evening. I think with kids running around and all the sibling rivaling going on now, the house needs to be doused in something daily. lol
Not sure exactly where I would hang garlic or even a representation of it, but I can figure something out. I think though I will definitely find something like this and hang it in the kids bedrooms too.

Thank you Kath . . . I have obsidian and will get a mat for the front door. I think with all the talk about garlic, when I get a ride to costco, i will get a couple of braids for the front door too. The kids aren't the only ones, I also provide refuge to a couple of women in the building who need to get away from abusive mates from time to time.

Looks like I'm not the only one who loves this thread!!

I'm glad that you were able to find something to help. Now what about taking the PC out of your bedroom? Then maybe if you have a basement is there a way to make a laundry shoot? At least the dirty clothes wont go past your bed but only the clean ones. As for the back door hum got me there unless you can create a new back door in a wall leading to the outside. It really is not all that hard. Only scary hard lol
