HI,

I had a question about a spell which I want to cast however I'm new to wicca so I don't quiet fully understand what I have to do, its a pretty simple spell but I want to make sure I do it right.

The spell says to burn a paper over a red candle-this is where I'm confused. So my question is do I have to burn the paper? or do I have to just burn it over the candle?

Hope that my question is not confusing lol .
