Can anyone recomend any mantras i can do in conjunction with reiki.....or just any mantras that have served anyone else well....or any sites i could peruse a list of mantras....any direction in this matter would be appreciated

i chant the names of the symbols, it helps me direct that specific healing energy where i am placing my hands.

I don't use any symbols, yet. I was attuned to kundalini reiki by a master in new zealand(long distance). I did, however, have a dream that the power symbol was tattooed on my left shoulder. Does anyone here do long distance attunments in Usui reiki, or any other types?? thanks for your reply

i do distance healings but i choose only do do attunements in person. if you can try to find someone to do in person attunements AND teaching. it is important to know and trust the person giving you the attunement because you want to make sure what they are giving you is reiki. either online or in person always ask for a lineage. if they do not give you one, that is a big red flag for the quality and integrity of their attuments.

I have posted about the Mani mantra (http://www.paganliving.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=2732) and the Great Compassionate Mantra (http://www.paganliving.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=2378) . I would be posting more mantras . In the Leng Yan Sutra (Buddhist) , the Buddha spoke of the Leng Yan Mantra and there was a line in the mantra used to deal with any pain and afflictions that are "fiery" in nature ...like fever , rashes ... The mantra for such afflictions that are fire like is :" E Ji Ni" in chinese and "Agni" in Sanskrit . In fact , Agni or E Ji Ni is the name of the God of Fire , Agni . He vowed in the Leng Yan Sutra to come to aid of such fiery like illnesses if his name is called . There are many mysterious yet sacred and highly efficient mantras in Buddhist sutras and they can range from subdueing demons , ghost and heavenly devas to curing poisons , charms , illnesses , give protection ...and many other uses .
