As some may remember where I work has it's share of friendlies, and a couple not so friendlies.

Yesterday I was sitting at my computer desk, and had this little one run thru my door, which isn't a rare occurance. So I bolt my big ass around my desk. I had gotten a very good look at her, short straight cut hair, shoulder length, blondish. Had on a long black old style coat, like a man's dress coat, and that people wore many years back. As fast as she was moving, and the chil that hit my spine abot the time she hit my desk, I had a feeling she wasn't my physical little one getting away from mom and dad. Never did find her.

First time in a long time I have had such a vivid encounter. I kinda miss it. Was nice to know it's not totally gone.

'Gifts' (still want the damn coffeemaker! lol) are a double edge sword. You go crazy when they are active, and you miss them like one would miss an appendage, when they are on the fritz.

I can't say that I've ever actually "seen" a ghost, but I've had some experiences in the past. When I lived with my uncle as a child the house was full of spirits, and I would always hear them walking around when I was alone in the house. A couple of times I've even heard whispers outside my bedroom door.
Now, I live in an apartment across the street from a funeral home, and down the street from a cemetary. There's not alot of activity, but you can definitely sense when they are around.

I can't ever remember not.

Only until lately when my circuits went haywire, then things went errily quiet.

Novia, I can't ever remember not seeing/sensing spirits, either.

Grandma used to visit Mom whenever something was happening in the family -- she crossed when I was 3 years old. Mom would wake up and there she was at the foot of the bed with something to say.

My folks house has a minimum of 3 spirits. An older lady dressed in high-necked, ankle-length blue gown and a young couple. The young man sometimes is wearing an Army uniform from WW II.

Here at work, there are spirits that one of my student helpers was afraid of. He would follow her as she vacuumed the hall, just gave her the chillls. There are times when a locked door will open and close all by itself. Also, I have been told there is a dog that is attatched to the land, he is looking for his master.

I have not seen the ones at work but, those at the house and I are old friends.

I don�t ever remember not knowing when they are there, living in a few houses where there where some good vibes coupled with (a son killed his father in one) Very bad ones. There are always fingerprints of who we are left in this world�And even when we are still alive the accts we do still leave a trace that can be felt!!!
