Everyone, with their masks, face the world.

Unknown to each that they may crack.

Each one of us searching for someone to get inside,

Yet we try to hide, maybe not from the world,

But from who we may be.

Pain, Love, and Time, these are what we run from,

Running with no escape.

Our mask is our shield,

With only our eyes to show through,

Exposing the greatest weakness,

We perceive the world in translation to our fears.

Normality is for those too unimaginitive to be weird.

Wow, I really like this one. Especially the last line, which is really sticking with me. Good job!

Thanks, it's good to get feedback. Yeah the last line has stuck with me for years

A nice little piece that hits really hard.

You should seee my collection of masks and costumes that I wear so others see only who I want them to or who they expect to see.

Blessings,
