I will be getting my Masters Training this weekend. I have chosen to do the Masters, and at a later date do the Teachers Certification. So as per the norm I should be floating on cloud 9 pretty much all weekend. My feet tend not to touch the ground after attunements. And I am very open, os if ya need to tap into the energy then.

Good luck Lyme. And now for a stupid question: are you talking about a Master of Art or Science degree or something entirely different?

It's like a ranking process actually, I would compare it to like the belt ranks in Martial Arts. Master's is the highest level attunement you can get in most modelities of any energy work.

What a weekend, seemed like it would never end, Jeep broke the morning of my class. Had to hitch a ride from my teacher to make it to the class. Then had to work on her web site, and get the Jeep fixed. But I made it to a Reiki-Seichim Master now.

Great to hear you did well. What is required to prove one's self a master in that type of area?

What I did, was bug my teacher via e-mail for two months before my class asking her questions. I wanted to make sure that her pratice was the kind I wanted to carry on and learn more of. After that I took my first class the weekend before my birthday, and was able to attend her weekly Reiki Circle. The first attunement process is rahter lengthy, in this form you have four attunements to open the flow of energy. And because she is the master/teacher I was also taught the first symbol. After about a year I thought I was ready to get attuned to second level, my master/teacher said I was ready long before that. In this the process is a bit easier, but you learn even more symbols that are specific to certain healings. For my masters training I was taught two more symbols, total of 9 now, and went over how to attune someone else to start the Reiki process.

So pretty much its very easy process, first time attunements might wear you out a little the first opening for me I was walking around like I was high. I can forward you some websites that I read before I even took my first class or Mike can I am sure he has sites bookmarked as I do.
