Anyone planning on doing an Ostara ritual this week? Curious minds want to know.

We are doing one on Monday. Not sure exactly yet how it is going to go on. But I know that we will be putting our plants in the ritual to represent spring and growth. We will be talking about all the symbols again, we make sure to do that so the kids remember. We will also talk about Persephone and Demeter. This year I won't have a pomegrante to add in the ritual.
We will also probably write down things that we want to grow in our lives and burn them to go to the Universe to manifest.
We will do our tradition of burying eggs in the yard also. We bury one for the Goddess, one for the God, and one for our ancestors.

I am still working on the ritual part itself. But, I'm sure by Monday I will have it all ironed out.
I know the kids want me to make honey cakes, but I think we will have to include that in the Easter activities this year. (We celebrate both so the kids don't feel left out of what other kids are doing. Although we don't do the whole church services..but the Easter Bunny comes, egg hunts, etc. are all part of the fun).

I look forward to seeing what everyone else is planning.

So I need some advice here. I want to do a Ostara ritual that has a few twists to it, the main one being it has an Authorian theme. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

I really don't know how to make it Authorian either. If you find some information though I would be really interested in seeing it, if you wouldn't mind sharing.

This year we ended up acting out the parts of Hades, Persephone and Demeter. It would have been really good if we had had a pomegranate. But, we made due. lol
It was a much longer than usual ritual but we all had fun with it. We also had our more traditional rites mixed in, so that probably caused it to be longer.

I saw another ritual while I was coming up with new ideas for our ritual that was more elaborate. Kore goes to the underworld and when she returns she is then Persephone. It requires those doing the parts to start off in one type of clothing and when they transform to remove the top layer and have a different type of clothing underneath.

Good luck with finding the information that your looking for. Hopefully someone here will have that knowledge for you.

Personal Spring Cleaning

Make 2 lists with 9 items each. The first list things you wish to be rid of. The second list things you wish to come to you.

Light a black candle and read the first list aloud three times. Burn the paper and ask the God and Goddess to take these things from you. When the paper is burnt, put the candle out. Now light a white candle and read your second list out loud three times. Burn this paper in the flame and ask the God and Goddess to bring these things to you. Let this candle burn all the way down.
