I was having a shower the other day, it was in the afternoon. I was in the middle of washing my hair when I noticed this really bright light from behind me, out of the corner of my eye. My shower I should say is like a cubicle made out of clear glass, behind which is a large window (pearl glass) that let's in the sun. So naturally I thought that the sun must have come out from the clouds. But then when I turned towards it, I sensed something above, and ducked instinctively as I heard the fluttering of what sounded like wings - large wings, like when a bird swoops down on you. I have two cats, and no birds in the house. It brushed against my left side my face and shoulders, and although I was surprised and startled I wasn't scared. The 'object' I saw from the corner of my eyes was white too.
I should say that my house is brand new, we just built it nearly three years ago, and it isn't near any burial sites or anything like that, so it isn't likely that there is a ghost haunting THE HOUSE, but if anyone can shed light on this experience it would be fantastic.
There was also another experience awhile before this one. I'd had the most horrible dream of my father dying. I was in this white misty place and there were people all around me, and I saw my father floating face down in the pool. I woke up in tears because the dream had felt so real, but I was still in that semi-dream-like state of half sleep. I felt arms around me, and a whispering and I returned to sleep. It wasn't until I woke up again an hour or two later that I freaked out, since I sleep alone and there is no one in my section of the house.
Thank you and blessed be!
