I wanted to post this incase there are homeschoolers that are not aware of this opportunity that the History Channel offers to educators.
The link is http://www.history.com/classroom/classroom.html
You can sign up for their newsletter which will keep you up to date on programs they will be airing. They give you links for more information when needed. They have an interactive site up right now for the kids and adults to learn more about Jamestown.
They give discussion question ideas with some of their program information. They also usually will tell you what grade level (such as middle school/high school) the program fits well with.
However, I have found that you can change things around if you are using them with younger children.
If you don't have the history channel, I still suggest signing up for this. It can give you ideas for things to introduce to your children and you can still take advantage of their website information.
