Creation: A Sioux Story
The Creator gathered all of Creation and said, "I want to hide something from the humans until they are ready for it. It is the realization that they create their own reality."
The eagle said, "Give it to me, I will take it to the moon."
The Creator said, "No. One day they will go there and find it."
The salmon said, "I will bury it on the bottom of the ocean."
"No. They will go there too."
The buffalo said, "I will bury it on the Great Plains."
The Creator said, "They will cut into the skin of the Earth and find it even there."
Grandmother Mole, who lives in the breast of Mother Earth, and who has no physical eyes but sees with spiritual eyes, said, "Put it inside of them."
And the Creator said, "It is done."

Just something to think about
Sundown

Beauitful.

Oh Sundown, how beautiful this is. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Many blessings,

Just more to think about. Maybe I think to much?

"The Circle has healing power. In the Circle, we are all equal. When in the Circle, no one is in front of you. No one is behind you. No one is above you. No one is below you. The Sacred Circle is designed to create unity. The Hoop of Life is also a circle. On this hoop there is a place for every species, every race, every tree and every plant. It is this completeness of Life that must be respected in order to bring about health on this planet."

Sundown

There are beginnings, then there are endings

   Native American Poem
"Don't stand by my grave and weep, for I am not there.
      I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I'm the diamond's glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn's rain.
Don't stand by my grave and cry.
      I am not there.
      I did not die."

Blessed be
Sundown

This is so beautiful.  It was used for  people I have seen pass on and is so true.

And it would not have looked too much different in the beginning.

Sundown

The colors made by Spirit are so much more vibrant and beautiful than man could ever imitate!  What lovely photos!

Sometimes in the hurry, rush, and stress of the real world I forget how lucky I am. This little spot of mother earth I sit upon here is unbelivable. Grandfather Oak at my door, sights like those two pics out my shop door. Woodlands, wildlife, peace, and more surround me. As I begin to move thorugh the busy season I need to take more in and remember what is always with me.

Sundown

Awesome pictures, Sundown.
Beautiful colors captured here.  Fire in the sky?  Isn't it strange how clouds can have the appearance of mountains or islands?  Could it be some sort of reflection?  Hmmm......I would like to go there.
