Hi...I don't really know what to say here...I'm apt to be a bit shy, sometimes misanthropic but basically harmless. I'm one of those much-dreaded eclectic practitioners with a heavy Shinto influence but a fair amount of Wiccan/other Western pagan practices too...I do a lot of artistic kind of stuff, from painting and sculpture to sewing and silversmithing, some of it professionally. Anything else? Oh, and all except Venus and Mars in my birth chart are in water signs, which probably explains much!

Welcome! I hope you enjoy our lovely home. I would love to see some of your artwork! It sounds like you are quite talented. Have a great weekend!

Hello and welcome, Lady Ashmire. Don't worry, we are all the eclectic type here. I borrow strongly from Buddhism and Daoism, and I know that others on the board have a strong Eastern influence. With Shinto being polytheistic, you'll fit right in. I look foward to seeing more of your perspective in our castle. Make yourself at home!

welcome to the castle Lady Ashmire. As Stacey said most of us are eclectic and borrow from different beliefs. I, myself am so eclectic I don't lable myself any more, except as Pagan.
I'm sure you will fit right in here and we all look forward to learning more about you as the days go by.

Blessings,
ladyalpha

Hello and welcome Lady Ashmire,

Don't have to worry bout being shy, many folks are around here, and that is completely ok. We do not require people to post, and there is so much to see, learn and do here, many folks don't even bother...it's completely ok.

This is a castle of knowledge, enlightenment and most of all self-discovery.

Enjoy yourself, and I hope to get to know you in the days to come!

Blessings Bright and Dark,

welcome Lady Ashmire, i hope you enjoy all this home has to offer.
I am also interested in seeing some of your art pieces.

Here are links to a few art pieces that happen to already be online. I keep planning to make a proper online gallery, but haven't got around to it yet. Is there a specific place for posting creative works? If so I will post new ones there as they happen. As you can see, I've been designing a tarot deck, but had to halt and do a couple of other things due to getting a little burned out. I'm feeling like I may get back to work on it fairly soon, though.
