Owl has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have several who have lived in my area for generations, of Owls that is. Wherever Ihave lived Owls have been. When I am not paying close enough attention they will also take flight in my dreams.

Usually with owl it is just that, taking flight thru your life and your dreams.

Of late though mine have been parking their asses. In the tree outside my window watching me read. Sitting in the yard adjacent t my bedroom. sitting in the trees across the street during daylight hours, showing me how to enjoy life.

At night he has now moved into my dreams still sitting. On a clothesline, sagging to the ground. I was sitting on the ground, and reacehd out and took hold of him. Hugging him. he extended a wing offereing me a feather. I plucked one single feather and after that he wrapped his wings about me as if to return the hug, and flew away, with a new feather in place of the one I plucked.
