as the lammas/lughsanah sabbat approching I like to make a corn dollies..but in the net I find juste how to make one whit actual corn leaf..

Those are really nice sites Lady Elaine. I think I could actually pull off a simple wheat weaving. I have always wanted to make a corn dolly but my craftiness does not always come out of my head like I would like. And there is something about the directions for a dolly that I just can't seem to keep up with in my mind. I think it is just the steps, I get overwhelmed reading them. lol

I hope everyone has a Blessed Lammas this year (just incase I don't get a chance to post again before then).

I think they are known as the same but when I think of corn dollies I think of the ones made with corn husks. All the weaving steps confuse me but then perhaps it is because I haven't actually tried doing it as I'm reading the directions.
I'm not a craft type of person and usually would rather stab myself in the eye than do a craft. Some times though I will suddenly find myself needing to get my creative ideas out in reality and will make something.

I think with the wheat directions it would be easier because you could really use your own creative flair if you wanted to rather than follow a bunch of steps. Just my thoughts though..
