Yesterday the prime minister of Russia voluntarily hands over the reigns of power. This morning Japans' PM resigns due to nervous prostration and Australias' PM says vote for me, but I have no intention of finishing the term???? Yet no one seems to see this, or at least, talk about this as a phenomena of coincidence that is a bit unnerving to say the least. Anybody have any ideas? What's up?! Tyche

Greetings Stacey,

How true...if only, but of course our current cowboy would never hand over the reins. He'll break us and happily go off and live on the familys' oil money cryng whoppee kai yay all the way home.

Confused: As I am so new to this path, I would welcome any specific suggestions on how, those of us that believe the man needs help and descernment, might cast out to affect the situation.

My extended family members are beginning to believe that if we, as a country, continue to vote back into the power- family blocks, that it is time to look for a new home.

My apologies if I have offended anyone, but I truly believe that we have been pulled into a very ancient family fued that has no business being forced on the rest of the world.

Ishmael or Isaac?? Who cares...The telling fact is whether these religions respect others, care for the planet and other living creatures upon it, and give as much room to breathe and survive to all even when they hold differing views.

I want to live in an America that is still striving for the promise carried within itself. How can we do that if we continue to allow our sons to be sacrificial fuel to the failing fires of old hatreds? Confused: Blessings, Tyche

I applaud your idealism, Tyche. However, I think most wars are issues of power and materialism. I really don't know of a war that was fought over an ideal and did not have an underlying economic or rulership motivation. DId you know that in all of human history, there have only been roughly 3 centuries without a known war somewhere?

Hey Stacey,
No I did not realize. When and where were these periods of "enlightenment". Last said in faint hope that they were that....Tyche

The time is the cumulation of a few years here and there throughout history. Of course, if we take into account oral histories and histories from cultures that were not truly emphasized in the past, we might not even be able to claim that.

If I remember correctly, there wa an Inuit or some Arctic society that did not have the word for "war" in their vocabulary, but I can't recall the name of the specific culture. I'l have to research it.

As a rule I try to steer clear of politics. But have notice of late the change in the leaders of countries and the suggested change.

Something we have all been noticing for some time now is a gradual eath shift, the energies are changing and we all have to just hold tight to see the out come.

As for John Howard, don't know what is going on with the man, one minute he is staying, then if you vote me in for another term I will not lead for the full term. Personally don't really like the man or what he stands for, but the other options aren't that much better. That is just my opinion though.

As for the war issue, I agree with Stacey that there is always an underlying degree of economic and rulership motivation.

Such a scarey thing when our own ideals of religion etc are so staunch that we cannot accept the concept of someones elses.
