A very slow start to the year. Slightly sick, tired, not sure if it is me or the new year. This to will pass. The only thing I can think of to elevate my spirits is by staying a little busy. These 3 have been here awhile. Each is very different and now I begin to hear and see where they wish to go.
All are extremely well cured oak and very hard and difficult to work with. I think I like that, lol.
First a staff:
Twisted, crooked, and about 49 inches long
or I have been thinking of making it a bit shorter around 35 inches
Next a wand:
Some spiral, 20 inches long
Last:
I don't know what to call it. Spiral a bit over 11 inches long
It does stand up, maybe a wooden base with either stone mounted on top, or even a candle holder
Best wishes for a wonderful year full of blessings and peace for all
Sundown
The older I get, the less I know, the happier I am
On that top one Sundown I almost see a wand at the top with the staff below. Where it kinda geehawkers a bit, lol. (The right side of the pic looking at it.)
Hi Sundown, sorry you are not feeling well, my friend. Tis the season I suppose. I do hope you begin to feel better, and if there is anything I can do, just let me know, I am just a phone call away.
Novia, I defintely can see the staff and wand combo in the first pick and that is a great idea!!
Sundown brought over a few BEAUTIFUL and magickal new wands, and I will get their pictures up tommorow, my printer has been on the fritz, and since it does basically everything from printing, scanning and faxing in my life I have been quite out of sorts about it, but Battery has fixed the problem, and I am now back up and running.....I am so excited.
Sundown brought over a Bune wand as well, it is simlpy and utterly amazing, and I know that it harbors some extraordinary power....(well, all Sundown's things do) be sure to check them all out in our Emporium in the days to come!
I love the oak, Sundown, and the way that the vines work their way into the wood creates such incerdible pieces....and then when you add your energies and magick...WOW is all I have to say.....people, these tools that Sundown creates are VERY energetic and powerful tools....you must feel them and see them to see what I am talking about!!
Blessings Bright and Dark,

[ Love them all, but love the Willow the best...strong energy! And, why is it Brother that I had to find out you were not feeling well by reading this post?
New Years Day a friend and I went for a walk on a nature trail. It had been rainy and miserable for a few days before than, and we were thrilled with the sun being out even if it was forty degrees. As we were walking, I spotted a thin really twisty tree trunk that had fallen over. Entirely against my nature, I picked it up and carried it home with me. I had to smile to myself because my first thought was that I was having a "Sundown Moment" . It is now sitting by my front door, and I hope that one day I'll be able to craft it in a similar fashion you do your materials.
When the time is right it will let you know, or it may prefer it's current form. Change is not always necessary.
And it seems it has already spoken to you

No place better to add this. Hickory, 15 years old or older, not sure when I first cut it and used it for a long time in the woods. The picture makes it look all shiney and pretty, it ain't! Black and grey, old. I trimmed the ends off and will redo it. Well aged, lol. Should last forever!
