Hi Everyone,
                        I finally found my way back here after losing the links from my computer (entirely my fault, I cannot blame the machine, she is a faithful little servant!).
Sorry for appearing to be a "lurker", but life has been more than somewhat engaging lately and I have only just got around to finding the site again.

2007 was an amazing year for me, and I am still a little stunned by its impact. Changes were set in place that will alter the whole course of my future, and in February I am off to Thailand for some surgery that will put the seal on this aspect of my life. All of this has only been possible because of the incredible generosity of a friend, a disabled friend I might add, who has seen fit to mortgage part of her future security to help this old person to have what she so dearly desires.

So there is it....I am back, and I will try to be more active in this place.
May you find the fulfilment in life that it has been my good fortune to experience.

It's great to see you back again! Thank you for re-introuducing yourself as well. I wish you well in your upcoming transformation...the feelings you have must be amazing! Your friend sounds like an amazing individual, it's wonderful to have such kind and loving support.

Don't worry bout being a lurker here, alot of folks are, and we have so many rooms here that many folks get lost for awhile lol....

My appointment in Phuket is for 22nd February, and any good energy you all can send me will be much appreciated. I will be there for about three weeks, and back to NZ on 14th March.
This is a dream come true for me, as I am of limited means and never thought that I would have the funds before I was too old. I am still somewhat "gobsmacked" by what has been given to me, and I will try to be worthy of it.
Living with inappropriate biology is a difficult path sometimes, but like most adversity it is a wonderful learning experience. When you are "different" you learn a lot about yourself, and a lot about the true attitudes of people. It is quite surprising, sometimes, to find which people accept you and which do not.
I have been insulted, ridiculed and have met hostility because of my state of being, but I have been accepted and loved for who I am so much more. In the Pagan world I have found the most acceptance, perhaps because of the spiritual awareness of pagans. When you are not only accepted, but loved by people that you respect and admire, it does your self esteem no harm at all, I can tell you!

It has been, in almost every way, interesting and a privilege to have been given this path to walk in this life, and I think that I have learned much from it. I hope that the lessons learned were those intended, and that I have contributed positively to the Plan (whatever it is!). We all have a part to play, although at times it is hard to see where outfits such as Al Qu'aida and individuals that commit terrible crimes fit in.
I guess it will all make sense from the other side.
