Blessings all,

Just a few quick questions referring to the section dealing with Elements in the BOS. When discussing the associations with the elements such as spirits, colours etc, is there any fluidity in these associations? Do other people disagree with these links? Or is it taken as being fairly solid and is usually unquestioned by other practitioners etc? �Where does the information come from and if it is possible for fluidity in meaning and associations, why did this particular source gain prestige?

I hope you don't think I'm trying to critique the site, believe me I love this place and everything it offers! I just ask because I would not like to use the information without recognising where it is coming from and whether I would find other answers elsewhere as a result of different opinions on the subject. �I wouldn't be so keen to look elsewhere but would like to recognise different views if they exist.

I enjoy questions.

I know that certain traditions exchange air for fire in the positions in the Circle, and also the tarot...swords for wands...but it is entirely what you desire to work with.
