Blessings all,

I was just looking around the wonderful castle but failed to come across what I was looking for (I put this down to my own error) but I was jst wondering about the meanings of flowers.  They are such beautiful things and I would like to know more about them, and thought that this was the place to ask!
Any knowledge you can share would be most appreciated!

I love learning about the meaning of flowers.  It's so cool to be able to "divine" what a person
means when giving you a bouquet.  Another place where I have seen information about the
meanings of flowers is in Patricia Telesco's book A Victorian Grimoire.  Hope this helps!

How kind of you to give this information to me, Mystical! Thank you, I feel the same, I love knowing what certain flowers mean.  Of course, there is always a personal level to how you interpret flowers; the freesias I rested at my mum's tree in the crematorium, the white rose my ex gave me, the orchid on my corsage at my formal (prom), the first red rose I got from a stranger, the lilies in my granny's garden.  There is such a beauty and delicacy about them that is hard to describe.

Thank you again for sharing!
