Hello everyone,

I just wanted to post a note that I probably won't be on very much over the next couple of weeks     There is so much to be done around the cottage now that the weather is warming.  There's major Spring-cleaning inside and painting the kitchen and bathroom.  Also, still have a lot of cleaning and clearing in the gardens ... followed by planting all the seedlings in a few weeks.  I find that when I come to the Castle and roam the halls I kind of get lost in time.  Before I know it ... the morning is over.

So, please, don't think that I'm MIA.  I will pop in when I can.

I wish everyone the brightest blessings and hope that you stay well

Have fun Country_Crone, and don't worry bout not being here, we never look at who is here or ask that you  post every day....we all have lives, and here is not MSN Groups!

Painting the kitchen sounds fun, I might have to look at that as well...it is time for a change!

Indeedly!!!!

Am getting into that clean clean clean mode. Still too chillly to tackle out of doors projects, adn rainy and now snowy, and well, not springy atall!!

I think your plans sound wonderrful and I wish you the best, have fun ....Blessings, Lav

I too am wanting to clean more often.  Especially now that the bugs are getting active and I want to keep the little critters OUT of the house.  (I live in Georgia, wish me luck with that)  I want to plant some plants but plan to do so in pots this year due to a major ant infestation and water restrictions.  We have a dehumidifier so I can empty the basin into the flower pots but can't use a hose to water larger gardens.  According to Ben we don't have an outside faucet anyway.  The land lords ran over it with their lawn mower before he moved in and instead of putting a new faucet on it they just capped it off.

I do hope all of you are having a wonderful day.

I'm just doing a fly-over  (witchfly) while I'm having my lunch - a great big salad with lots of veggies. Sad to say - frozen veggies. I will be glad when they are fresh out of the garden.

This weekend we were pretty busy putting up latticework around the deck that I want to train my scarlett runner beans on. Right now, it really looks naked.

My children's father came out to help. He also brought enough tiles to do the kitchen floor and hallway, too. He can be so sweet now that we no longer live under the same roof. He is good with the kids and that's all that matters.

Well, I have to run and get them from work.

Bright Blessings to all in the Castle

*sniff ... cough*  Good Day   *sniff ... cough*
LOL

A couple of days after my last post I woke up to what I thought was my seasonal allergy attacks but I soon found out it was more than that.  I must have been overdoing and my system just got run over with a virus.  My usual home made cold medicines weren't effective .. except for my cough syrup ... so I resorted to Alka-Seltzer Cold and Sinus.  It has helped to knock this thing out but it also knocked me out.  I couldn't stand up without the room spinning around and every bone in my body hurt.  I was floating in and out of sleep day and night.  That was scary.

The last couple of days have been more wakeful and I'm beginning to feel more like myself again.  I'm going to take it slower on my Springtime plans, however.  I abhor being sick.  DD says I'm the worst 'sick person' she's ever seen .... very cantankerous.

Looking forward to Beltaine
