As I was driving home about an hour ago on the freeway, I felt the oddest sensation literally going through both my hands (the palm and heel of my hands) and then a split second later, my left foot.  It startled me because I'd never felt anything quite like it.  It wasn't something FROM me, but it felt like something going THROUGH me.  I was thinking about my new kitten at the time but that's about it.  Nothing special.  I'm wondering if I could have passed through some sort of special energy field, but why would I only feel it in my hands and foot?  Has anyone got any ideas?  I'm truly curious about what it may have been.

She really is something.  She took to me instantly and we've got quite a connection.  She is a gift.  I had a vision during meditation some months ago (I was meditating on the Queen of Wands card from de Angelis' Universal tarot) where I was given a black kitty as a gift from Goddess.  I was told to be patient and that it would take some time, but she would come.  Last week one of the ladies I work with and her daughter asked if I wanted a kitten.  Of course I said, "Yes!" and they asked if I had issues with black cats.  I was almost blown over.  I took her home Monday, worried about how she would interact with our rather large dog (he's part Shepherd, part Lab.).  She is only about as big as my hand, but she kept her protective shield up around her and he wouldn't come near her, just circled her for a while.  When he finally dared, she hissed and made a big issue about her comfort zone and put him in his place.  Today, however, I caught the dog nursing her on one of his teats.  (and, dagnabbit, I don't have a camera right now!)  
That's probably what it was.  I was thinking rather strongly of her.

awwwwww I love cats, and have a special place in my heart for black cats. How cute that your dog was nursing her!

About your experience, I liked Alice's response, that would be way cool to have such a connection to your kitty!  I, however, am clueless as to what could have happened..... Maybe Alice is right, and if that is the case, then you are very blessed indeed!
