Dear sisters,

Please send comforting, healing, sympathetic energies and prayers to my neighbor, Mrs. Parker.  Her daughter, Julia, 17, was killed in a horrendous cabin fire early Sunday morning.  Other teens made it out ok, one had burns, they tried to get back in to save Julia, but couldn't.  It was on the news, and it was horrifying.   Julia was kind, and pretty, an accomplished flutist, and a joy.  She was my daughter's good friend, and my daughter is devistated, as we all are.  In times like this we all want to do so much to ease the suffering and there's not alot we can do but be there for Julia's family.  The sadness here in my community is almost tangible and overwhelming.  May the Goddess guide, comfort and protect the Parker family, and lead Julia to peace.

What a horrific tragedy, I am so sorry for your loss.....sending healing energies your way....it is always hard when someone makes the transition to another realm, but much more difficult if it is done in a tragic way....let us know how ya'll are doing in the upcoming days and weeks....and take care of your daughter and yourself! May the healing begin and the God and Goddess light the way...

Healing energies, love and light to you and your neighbour.  I am sure Julia has made a safe transition no matter how horrific her passing.

Thank you all for your kindness.  My daughter is having trouble understanding the grieving process. This is the first time she has really experienced the passing of someone close.  She gets mad at herself for not being able to control the spontaneous bursting into tears that happens.  She dreams about Julia and wakes up crying.   I am trying to mentor her through this, telling her to be easy on herself, give herself time and privacy to let out the emotional turmoil and time to heal.  I am here for her whenever she needs to talk or cry or just be held. Strength is not about not crying, but being able to cry, picking yourself up after a time and moving on with life.  Her boyfriend is a wonderfully supportive young man, very kind and generous - I think she will allow him to help her through this more than she will allow me to.  

Please include healing energies for Jesse as well, Julia's boyfriend.  He tried desparately to save her and badly burned his arm and lost an ear in the process.  He has to deal with his injuries as well as losing Julia and the investigation that has started.  

Thank you again dear sisters, your good thoughts and energies will help us all through this.

Thanks for thinking of us.  The calling hours were Friday, and both my son and daughter went.  I actuallly haven't talked to my daughter since Friday morning - she wanted to make sure what she was wearing was appropriate, and she sounded pretty stable at that point.  And the fact that she hasn't called since is a good thing since I am mainly called upon when there is turmoil or crisis.  I'm sure if there is some sort of project going on for Julia's family, Kate will be in the midst of it.  (A true Capricorn)  Thanks again for all your kindness.

Perhaps in a few weeks when "The Mourners" have left is when your work will begin,  if you chose to accept the task. If you are not familiar with Kubler Ross and "The 5 Stages of Grief" it may help you on this part of your journey. Please keep in mind that "every life is a circle some are larger some are smaller but known are less perfect" This beautiful child's circle is the perfect size and the universe is guiding her and her family is this time of crossing over.
