A Handful of Forgiveness
As you grow older it is best to let go of past anger and grievances, which have a tendency to weigh you down, and which eventually can impinge upon your health. It's best not to hang on to these grievances, and to forgive certain people in your life.
You will need a white beeswax candle, a sheet of paper, and a pen.
Begin by writing down the names of five people that you have a grievance with and want to forgive. Light the candle, dedicating it to a favorite goddess or god. Set the sheet of paper in front of the candle so you can easily read the names. Now go down the list while saying the following forgiveness blessing:
[Name of Person]
I forgive you as I hope you will forgive me,
So that we might forever live in harmony,
As I will, so may it be.
Say the blessing for each person on your list. Fold the piece of paper three times, and seal it with candle wax. Dig a small hole outdoors, and bury the paper. If any of th4e anger persists, perform the spell over again as many times as it takes for you to forgive the person. With some people you might find it takes a few times, but in the end it's worth it, because you're not carrying around all that negative baggage anymore.
