Brightest Blessings to all
Haven't been on in over a month. I can't believe it. Most of my online time is the morning after I drive my kids to work. Since it stopped snowing and I finally got over the virus I had, I spend most mornings outdoors in my gardens or wild foraging in the woods in my area. Before I realize it the time has flown by and it's time to go and pick the kids up. They have the internet until it's time to call it a night.
I finally got all the veggies planted and the herb garden is looking just great. There's plenty of room for me to add more herbs as time goes by. I've been foraging for wild herbs and have been lucky enough to bring back little starters that I've added to my herb garden.
My kitchen counter is beginning to look like an apothecary. All sizes and shapes of jars filled with mysterious stuff.
Let's see whats here .... I'm tinturing echinacea, dandelion, plantain, and some red clover. I've also started oils with dandelion, comphrey, plantain, chickweed and pokeweed leaves. I plan on making salve with them in about another 4 weeks. I've also been working with making vinegars using different flowers growing around my area. Such fun. I'm so looking forward for the roses to start blossoming so I can make myself a nice gallon size jar of rosewater.
I do hope everyone is enjoying 'Spring' ... it seems to be really having a hard time settling in this year. I pray and send healing energies to all who are suffering from the effects .... cyclones, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. My heart goes out to them.
