The Mineralogical Society of America has extensively logged,
categorized and classified every mineral on the planet! This week, I
will be discussing some of these classifications and incorporating
their metaphysical properties the these very special creations.
Colored crystals, color usually uniform, but may be zoned or
irregular in a single individual.
Violet, or soft, light purple:
Violet Energy is governed by the Crown Chakra. This is the most
exhaulting, most enlightening of all the energy rays. An extremely
balanced and refined space of unconditional enlightenment is found
here. It is the highest frequency of vibrational speed and cannot be
utilized by most people.
The Crown Chakra -- has the ability to obtain a connection with
everything that is divine, living or dead, spiritual helpers of human
or non-human origin. Controller of the pineal gland in the brain.
This energy -- has the most intense electrochemical power. With this
energy we have the gift and the possibilities that reach far beyond
the physical plane. Violet is beneficial in the treatment of nervous
and emotional disturbances, arthritis, acute cases of consumption and
insomnia.
In using violet -- it enhances spiritual power and creativity and is
known as the color of the spirit.
Violet Energy may help when:
*you have emotional problems
*want to clear an existing situation
*strengthen your spiritual values
*strengthen your creativity
When this chakra is open, you connect with the Godhead and the source
of the White Light comes into your energy field. Physically, it
governs the pineal gland, the upper brain and the right eye. Amethyst
gems are helpful in activating this chakra when all is else is
prepared. The symbol of this chakra is the Lotus.
Amethyst - typical name for this color.
Occidental Amethyst - differentiates true amethyst (quartz) from
other minerals of similar color.
Oriental Amethyst is applied to exceptionally beautiful specimens of
amethyst.
Siberian Amethyst refers to a dark colored amethyst whose color by
artificial light is fine red.
