Take a deep breath and relax your body. Count yourself down from ten to one. Imagine yourself on a big empty beach with a cliffside. The sun is shining and it glistens off the waves as they come up along the sand. As you are walking along enjoying the beauty of this place, you notice a tidal cave cut into the rock beside you. Curious, you approach. The opening is dark, but you are not afraid to enter, and as you do, you see that there are several tunnels going off in various directions. However, only one tunnel is lit by several candles placed sparsely along the walls for illumination. It seems as though this one has been lit for you to follow. So you do. The light is very dim, but you can see enough to avoid any obstacles in the way. You run your hand along the wall. It is cool and smooth and feels soft under your hand. Soon, the candles lessen, until finally, there is only one more candle on the wall, then nothing but blackness ahead of you. You remove the last candle and carry it so that you may see the rest of the way. What is it in this tunnel that you must know? Peering off into the darkness of the tunnel, you see a ways off just a glimmer of light. As you near it, the glimmer becomes a glow, the glow becomes a glistening. Very soon you are at the entrance to a great cavern filled with crystals embedded into the walls. Your one tiny candle reflects off a million candles and illuminates the room. As you enter, you notice, above your head there is a hole that reaches up into the rock and when you look through this hole in the ceiling of the cavern, you can see the sky. This room is an echo chamber. Anything you say in here will come back to you several times. Test it. Say anything: hellohear the echo come back to you, hello, hello, hello, each time growing fainter as it reaches up the hole toward the sky as if the last person to speak the echo is the very Goddess, herself. Now, what kinds of things do you want people to say to you? You are beautiful, you are capable, You deserve all the Good things the Universe gives you. Whatever you need to hear, shout it out as loud as you can then listen to the echo repeat it until it fades up to the sky. Imagine that last one again as the Goddess repeating your statement. Do this as many times as it feels right to do. Understand that when you say and hear these statements, you finally begin to believe them.
When you are finished, thank the cavern and the Goddess for listening and responding, and then turn back toward the tunnel from which you came. Follow it back to the opening of the cave and then back out to the beach. The sun is just beginning to go down on the horizon and you are in awe of the beauty of the colors: the blue sea, the orange sun, the gold, purple, pink and red of the sunset, the brown sand. You feel that all is right in your world.
Count yourself back up from one to ten and open your eyes. As you are sitting, gaining focus, notice how good you feel. Drink a glass of water to ground yourself.
