My Grandma Rose pasted away and I find myself having a hard time with this. I am full of remorse and regrets. My childern have never gotten to meet this wonderful lady. Why, will she lived just so for away. An not ever having the money to afford such a trip. I feel as if I should have tried harder. But there was always something that would cut into any savings we might have.

I'm also feeling like I lost a connection. A line cut off. We talked a least once a month on the phone. I always knew it was her before the phone rang. I knew something was off for a few days but what I just couldn't put my finger on it. When I received a call from my Mother, I knew before she even said a word.

Grandma Rose was one of the few people whom I knew that could call the birds from the skies to come sit with her. She could plant a seed then simple hold her hand over it and say 'grow' and before you knew it there would be a big health plant within days. When I was little an came down sick, she'd hold my head, kiss my cheak and tell me I'd be better in the morn, as soon as she say those words, I'd become so sleepy and would go to bed. An true to her word i'd be better. She was a true Christain and a spiritual being. She will be missed, but I am sure she will be happy to be reunited with her husband whom she loved dearly.

*big hug*  I'm sure your grandma is giving your grandpa a huge hug right now and sending you a spiritual one as well. It will take a while to get over the physical shock, but she's always going to be with you no matter what.  ^__^

I am sorry to hear about your grandmother's passing Inde.  I know you will miss her but try not to focus on that, instead focus on how happy she must be to be with your grandfather again.  And a human life is not all that long, before you know it you'll all be reunited.

Death is not a horrible thing.  We all get to be reunited with the loved ones who went on before us.  And any pain she was in is over now.  Grieve for the time you will miss her but try to be happy for her as well.  It's just another phase of life.

Inde, know this sweet one, she is always a part of you, and that will never change.

Don't grieve for not being able to make the physical journey, for she visited with you often, I'm sure, in spirit, as you did her. Pass your memories of her on to your children, let her live for them thru you.

Close your eyes, think a thought, and she'll be right there for you, in you, a part of you.

In every bird that settles on your branch, know it brings a moment to you to share with her. With every plant that springs forth from the ground, know full well she had her hand in that as well. When your children fall ill, gentle kiss their cheeks and let her healing flow thru you to aide them on their way to wellness.

Granna Rose is a special lady who will be miseed, but is still doing her part in the universe, just let yourself feel your grief, cry your tears, and remember, you will heal, in time.

I am sorry to hear about your Gramma.  But, like Novia said, she is a part of you.  Physical distance doesn't matter anymore, as she can visit you anytime you want.   (hug)

Thank you all. I've had a good cry, and chatted with family for a few hours on the phone going over things we remembered.

Unfurtunitly I still have regrets of my childern not getting to meet her and to get to truely know her. I can only share the memories I have with them.

I asked if they would burn a candle for me at the funural. They know of my choosen path, and though some don't agree with it, they will respect my request and do so. I was even asked what color and if there was anything else I'd like to add, so I told them of a prayer I had said here. An Aunt said she loved it and would be more then happy to share it with them. So even if I can't be there physicaly I am in spirit.

Today I bought 3 new bird feeders and a bunch of feed, and I am going to plant a tree in her memory.

In time my regret will fade and heal, for I know she knew it wasn't affordable for us to go visit. An having talked on the phone every week helps easy things as well.

That sounds like an awesome idea Inde, planting a tree for her. I'm sure she'll visit it often for you.

Place your hands, (much as your grandma did) around it's base and breathe to it, and as she did, tell it to grow.  She would like that, and watch as she sends the birds to bless it.  

Something tells me she will.
