Anti Hurricane Spell

When a hurricane threatens your area, take a sharp knife (but not a ritual knife) and go outdoors, facing the driection of the blowing wind.  Take the knife in hand, and wave it over our head three times in a great circle while saying:

I call upon thee, elementals air and water!
Go where ever you please,
But stay thou far away from me!
Throughout the oceans ye may roam!
But nowhere near my own home!
For kith and kin are thee to me,
As I will, so  mote it be.

Now thrust the knife into the ground while envisioning that the winds will be "split"
and not come near.
Retrieve the knife and rinse it off after the danger has passed.

That might come in handy around here!  You never know where those things are going to land!  This year seems pretty weird with the unexpected storms that have been popping up in the gulf!

Much needed spell !

Sundown

Works good for regular land based storms as well. (Or a varying version of it anyways!)

Around here we have something that the old timers started, and well, ya know how powerful the power of the mind can be, and put that into use by hundreds of people, and well, we got one helluva storm block round here.

There is an are out to the west of us, a small town called Tonganoxie. Storms will be barrelling down on us, heading straight for us, and hit this little area, and split and go north and south of us. We call it the tonganoxie split. some believe it is because of some water/river split, orthers the lay of the land. I personally believe it is because people for so long have believe that they will be spared any major storms because of the split, that makes it so.

Now granted every now and again, one will make it's way to us, and boy howdy when it does, it's a humdinger!!!

(bump)

I know we can't all get together but I was wondering if anyone would like to join me at a certain time in the next day/night or so to step out at the every same time to cast this. Even with many miles between us, I feel like being of one mind we could work a bit of magic together.

I know this is short notice so if interested let me know.

I'm in, although I will have to modify it as I live in an apartment.  (For me, the weekend or the later afternoon/evening is a good time).

Sure, and I even have the perfect item for this, and he has been hollering for a move.

Of Course just give me a time  (circle)

I'm a ways away, but count this Northerner in.

Still sending energy, guys!  I'm watching that eye go right over Houma, Inde.  When its over, we need to do a roll call!

Please check in all you LA and other Southern folks to let us know how you are doing.  Latest word I got from inside sources is that the storm really lost steam once it came to landfall?
