I laid down for a nap this afternoon, my old lady nap, lol, and I usually never dream during my nap, as I only sleep for an hour. (No alarm, just wake up in an hour.)

Today just before I woke up, I mean literally JUST before i woke up, I was looking at the monitor in my offoce that watches the other entrance to the facility, and seconds before I woke up, there was a woman standing in front of it.

To get out you have to push the big silver button, like on the doors in the hospitals, which usually leads to someone having to stop and contemplate for a moments why the door didn't autmatically open, and reach over to push the thing

Well back to the story, she was standing there, and all of a sudden there was this starburst of intense light in the door, encompassing the entire monitor. it was like a mulit pointed star. In a split second I realized that was an explosion, and I needed to run, and everything went black. Slowly everything came into this 'focus' that was weird, my thought was, 'am I dead, or simply 'disconnected'?, nope I think I'm dead, and then I was awake.

When I woke up I felt strange. now I often am in delimma's that I could end up dead in, but I have never actually died. I have fallen off a million cliffs, and been attacked by more 'things' than I can even recall, but this is the first time I believe I actually died. Anyways when I woke up, I felt different, changed, like there was a significant happening in that death.

I was driving to go get somehting to eat, the colors were vibrant. I noticed things, and I notice everything as it is. I noticed little lights flitting about. There was a lady crossing the street, she has this grey cast around her. I feel alive, I mean mor ealive than I have felt in ages, granted I ache, a deep ache, but I'm not worried, i know it will go away. I just know! Now my Kundalini is up a raring, so maybe Lady K had somehting to do with it, as she often will rare her head, and burn out some part that needs it at that time.

In my crazy life, who knows, and I ain't askin' cause then they answer! � �

wow... how peculiar...

I couldn't help laughing as I read this... one of those "oh that's so Novia..." moments.  I missed you!

whatever it else means (I'm with ya on not really wanting to know most times!) I'm glad you're feeling good... sometimes you need to feel like you've shed something and to see more clearly again.

While some are senseless, and others contain a very deep spiritual dimension, I'd say that some of them do affect my day to day operations. A friend of mine tells me that I use my dreams the way he uses his internal GPS. Occasionally I will have dreams about events in everyday life, but they are also divinatory dreams. I may see something happening on a global scale, or i may find some object I have been searching frantically for, or i will dream about an upcoming event.  

In the past I have dreamt about small groups of American men discussing prospects of war with Iraq and Iran. The most unique was the dismemberment of Saddam Hussein. And an arabian goddess watching from the crowd of people. When I woke, i turned on the news and saw them doing similar things to his statues.

A few weeks ago I dreamt I found a pair of pants I had lost. I found them in a basket in the closet. Last week I found them alright, and they were in the closet, they just weren't in a basket. A week ago I had set some shoes and clothes aside to donate to the Vietnam Veterans of America foundation. Apparently I had forgotten to put them out on Sunday night. In the dream Monday morning, I ran out and put it outside just in time for them to pick it up. I woke up fast, threw my pants on, and grabbed the bag and put it outside. I was afraid I had put it out too late, but it turns out I had, much like in the dream, put it out well in time.
