This was interesting.

That... makes sense.  It's an extremely scary thought, but it makes sense.

This is so unfortunatly true about our culture, so much packaging is wasted on simple things like water.

I personally use a reusable bottle from http://www.kleankanteen.com/

Food Grade Stainless Steel... Non leeching tastless and will last me virtually forever!  I got the 40 ounce, i was worried about it being to big but it is the perect size.

I reuse plastice water bottles.  For one thing that makes for less garbage at my house. *LOL*

We use bottled water.  The water hear in the trailer park is questionable and they have a habit of cutting off the water to work on the pipes with out notifying anyone.  Ben claims it tastes funny any way.  We only use it for cleaning and cooking since that requires boiling it.  We never buy little bottles of it though, only the gallon jug sized.

I was buying bottled water, re-using it for a couple of weeks before throwing it in the re-cycle bin and purchasing a new one.  But, this past week, I heard about chemicals leaching from these bottles from differenet sources, and the mayor is talking about banning the sale of water bottles because our water is supposed to be so good.  Today, I broke down and bought a stainless steel bottle.
