Liberation: Taking Responsibility

Ive been thinking about a question I was asked recently:
"If all (abuse, pain, discomfort, disease, rape, murder, etc.) was intended in this life, where is the spirituality and compassion of a loving God?"
My first inclination is to throw this open for discussion since there is so much involved in answering this question - And depending on what philosophy you adhere to, there are a variety of answers that could arise from such a discussion. So please feel free to respond to this question, in your own way.
I, however, can only speak from the Druidic perspective I was taught
If we are children of God, then one day we will grow into Their likeness to become a magical creator in our own right. The purpose for character improvement, then, is to help us grow into the perfected status of our Celestial Parents.
We come into this life with a pre-planned agenda. Were here to acquire a certain set of strengths and to overcome a certain set of weaknesses. The circumstances of our lives are such to teach us about these qualities within ourselves.
Who Decides Our Curriculum for this Life?
The teachings say that the unaware operate under the umbrella of the Group Mind of Humans and here we are lovingly assisted in decision making by our spiritual Parents. As our individual awareness grows we rise to the top of the group mind of humans in much the same way that yeast bubbles rise to the top of a lump of bread dough. Lifetime after lifetime we reach awareness and rise to the top where we finally realize that there is even more room for expansion outside the human group mind.
After we rise to awareness seven lifetimes our bubble becomes strong enough to finally break free of the human group mind. Then every lifetime thereafter this expanded awareness is added unto until finally we have our own Master Mind of past identities floating free of the group mind of humans.
These children will automatically become aware each lifetime thereafter when they reach the age of puberty. Then they will seek out others of like mind.
Why? Because we rise higher and more quickly when our little bubble Master Minds grouped together. This is why we meet together in Covens of like minded individuals all of whom are aware that they are somehow different from the masses.
The difference is in our desire for more more awareness, more experiences, more joy, more growth!
When our increasing awareness has finally grown strong enough to create its own little Master Mind, then we, ourselves, review the strengths we have accumulated and the weaknesses yet to overcome in order to gain spiritual perfection.
If we are children of God, then we will someday grow into the likeness of our Creators, and will become magical creators in our own right. The great natural laws of the Universe have been set into motion in order to teach us to grow into this perfection.
Do you know how to live in harmony with these natural laws?
Do you know how to take responsibility for your actions, so you can set yourself free?

In my mind's eye I think back to a time when I felt free, easy, and unburdened. As I recall this feeling I remember how comfortable and natural the feeling of freedom allows me to be.
In my mind's eye I see myself responding to the events of my day by thinking only positive thoughts. I imagine that each time I allow my positive thoughts to govern the way in which I respond to the events of my life, I AM more free. I see myself being more confident and sure as I respond positively to life. I give thanks for being alive, being a beloved child of God, and being free.
I combine these images with the feelings of joy and let them go, knowing that they will create the good things I am visualizing and thinking.

PISCES: I BELIEVE
3rd Influence: "LIBERATION"
March 11th - March 20th
iberation is a great need for the natives of this birth sign. Piscean people are given to bondage of various forms: physical, mental, and operational. We see this in the glyph of Pisces in the cord that binds two fish together. This symbolizes the need for Piscean people to liberate themselves from the bonds that they themselves have forged. It also reflects the need for all of us, as people living in a world largely formed of the bondage values of the Piscean Age, to liberate ourselves from the shackles of archaic cultural restraints. Let us consider then, in this decan of Pisces, all the things that serve to keep people in bondage. Let us all look within ourselves to find the means of seeking the freedom that we must have in order to develop from the Piscean Larvae to the Aquarian Butterfly.
Consider the things that shackle our bodies and prevent us from freely using them as a useful medium to enable us to move upward. We should consider too, the mental cages in which we allow ourselves to be locked, the iron masks of ideas which prevent our minds from becoming liberated and soaring into the realms of the mental world where true reality is found, and where our minds run free.
We must consider the operational harnesses which ourselves and others may have buckled upon us. These things prevent us from functioning freely. We must be free. Free from all things that prevent our freedom of thought and action.
Let us consider all these things that keep ourselves and others in bondage. Then let us unite together in compassion and kindness, and work actively together to free ourselves and others from these cultural bonds.
