The Season of Rebirth: Changing for the Better

A couple of years ago, I watched as an unusual cold snap sent temperatures here into the 20s over Easter week-end. The florescent emerald green of new growth quickly turned to the autumn brown of frozen leaves. Huge sections of the Ozark National Forest turned brown. Many lost their gardens and fruit tree blossoms.
I felt there must be a message in such a shocking experience, to see that, here, in the buckle of the Bible-belt, on THE day that Christians everywhere celebrate the rebirth of Christ (Easter Sunday) the world turned brown (here in the Ozarks), the grass and flowers died.
Last year, during this same week, we got several nights in a row of below freezing temperatures. Then again this year we had some cold nights in the 30's, but no frost (knock on wood).
Ive been pondering the unusual weather spring brings with it. I understand that these late spring frosts certainly WOULD forebode a difficult year if we had to rely only on our own little garden for the year's vegetable sustenance. THAT must be the message start my veggies inside or in a greenhouse.
If I place my attention on the tragedy of a garden which is not growing as I would like, my spirit falls. However, if I place my attention on that which I would rather see - a garden full of beautiful vegetables, the flowering trees and flowers alive with color - then my energy changes and I am uplifted, if only by the possibilities I can dream of.
This is a rebirth in itself my spirit is reborn in my determination to look on the bright side.
Everything happens for a good reason.
The cold that falls out of season is also there for a good reason. Im told that late cold snaps will make for fewer bugs this year and it will be more comfortable hiking through the woods.
Pagans celebrate the season the Turning of the Great Wheel of Life. This is the season of rebirth. This is the time when the world wakes up and life is renewed.
Do you feel the call to help with this renewal?
When you see someone who is looking at the glass as half empty, do you take the time to point out the other side? Do you take action to help uplift and renew the spirit of determination in those who cross your path? Perhaps this is the real meaning of spiritual rebirth caring about others. Perhaps it is recognizing that we are all connected. As I AM so are we all. What I do to one, I do to the many.
All things are connected. Man does not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.

Everything that IS was first a thought because all thought desires to express itself in action. When I find myself helping another it is because I have thought about it prior to this action.
How can I transform this world?
Good feels good, Bad feels bad
Its easy to turn away from thinking about what you Dont Want if you just let your feelings be your guide. Thinking about what you Dont Want feels BAD as it should. This is your guidance system telling you that what youre thinking about at that moment is not a vibrational match to who you really are.
Thinking about what you Do Want is easy, because it feels GOOD as it should. This is also your guidance system telling you that what youre thinking about in that moment when you feel good IS a vibrational match to who you really are.
Long before our awareness came into these bodies it was agreed that our higher selves would try to guide us through our experiences here in this life by offering a feeling that could not be missed in response to what were thinking. Therefore, when I think about something that IS NOT in harmony with my higher self I feel BAD. When I think about something that IS in harmony with who I really am then I feel GOOD.
We, of course, are given our free will to think however we wish, but when we check in with our feelings we will notice that there is an excellent guidance system already in place. Simply put Good Feels Good, and Bad Feels Bad. Therefore, when you feel bad its time to think about what you would rather have and take your attention off of reality, and put it magically upon the dreams youd like to see fulfilled. Because you really DO get to decide what you want.
The Universe is sending everything youve ever wanted to you, but you have to let it in or allow it to manifest by drawing it into your experience and you do this by thinking about what you want.
Thoughts are things choose the good ones, because you get whatever you dwell on the most.

Our subconscious is a truly wonderful partner. It finds many ways to communicate with us.
The other morning, I found myself humming "Slow down, you're going too fast..." Now, that was a clear message.
Have you ever paid attention to the songs that you find yourself humming, or whistling? In the same way, the people around you may be communicating with you through the songs they have chosen (subconsciously, probably) to hum.

What is a Decan? Each astrological sign is approximately 30 degrees in width and is divided into three 10-day portions called decans, which represent the (1) Cardinal, (2) Fixed, & (3) Mutable phases of the monthly influence. Each decan is assigned a Word that further defines the sign and the influences we ALL feel during that 10-day portion of the astrological month.
Why study the influence?
