Harmonious Attraction of Magical Goals
Written by Misty-Eve
Wednesday, 29 April 2009

I was re-reading my magical goals list and discovered many have already been crossed off, but some that are still worthy of further improvement.

*  When I arrived back in the Ozarks I was looking  for a happy way to make my living here in the mountains.  Thankfully, that is continuing to blossom, as I now have another promising job.

*  I also want to eat more fresh veggies out of my garden, and last year I had a truck load of black top soil dumped in the garden area, and the difference in the vegetables is beginning to show!

*  Finally, I wanted to learn more about being self-sufficient.  With all the disasters we've had in the last few years it's taught me to be more self-sufficient which means planning ahead and being prepared.

I had a vision last year that the problems I think I’m having are really very miniscule, and things are going to work out remarkably well.  My grandest dreams shall be realized, if I only keep working toward them.

Persistence!  That’s what Taurus’ are good at!

All things happen when the time is right.  Patient but eager expectation is the proper harmonious feeling for manifesting magical goals.

The Key to unlocking the divine influence of Taurus is HARMONY, for how can we HAVE the things we want unless we vibrate in harmony with our own desires?

In order to be in harmony with my goals – what must I do?

First of all, I cannot offer a conflicting thought, if I want to vibrate in harmony with my goals.

“Now, how is it that you achieve vibrational harmony with something? Well, you observe it, you contemplate it, you chew on it, you talk about it, you think about, you muse about it, you consider it, you remember it, you stew over it. In other words, by giving your attention to something, if you spend any amount of time in your observation of it, you, within a few seconds, usually 14 or 15 or 16 seconds, begin to achieve vibrational harmony with your object of attention, and once that has been achieved, it is yours.”
~ Abraham-Hicks

“Harmony is the love catalyst, the thing that makes it happen and the thing that makes it work.  The first lessons of the Gods Pan were the Arts of Harmony.  Harmony is a thing that happens within, indefinable but identifiable by feeling.  We only know of harmony when it happens, for then we feel it.   In music we know it when we hear it.    When playing in a musical group we know and feel it as we contribute to it, or when dancing - our movements together bring it to us.”
~ Father Eli (1916-1983)

Do you feel in harmony with your goals?

What might you do to improve the feeling?

It’s worth thinking about…

WHICH ONE ARE YOU?

A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again.

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl.

Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me what you see."

"Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied.

Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee.
The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother?"

Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting.

However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened.

The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.

"Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

Think of this: Which one of these am I?

Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?

Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat?  Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?

Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you.

When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate yourself to another level?

How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

ATTRACTION: QUOTES OF THE DAY

“True hope dwells on the possible, even when life seems to be a plot written by someone who wants to see how much adversity we can overcome.”
~ Walter Anderson

“Many people think that they cannot be happy because they have a lot of problems in their life.  Life itself is a series of problems, and if you wait until there are no more problems, there will also be no more life.  Problems are placed in your life to help you develop through overcoming them.  The more problems we have and solve, the more progress we make.  Work builds muscles and problems build character.  In fact, if there were no more problems in your life, you would stop thinking.

"We have been taught to think that we will be happy when we are successful; this is reversing the way things should be for success.  We must become happy first, and then we will naturally tend toward success.”
~ Father Eli (1916-1983)

OVERCOMING ADVERSITY

"Your difficulty is not contained, primarily, in the situation which gave rise to it, but in the mental state with which you regard that situation and which you bring to bear upon it."
- James Allen, Byways of Blessedness

It is one of the most difficult lessons to accept, understand and learn.

Circumstances are not negative or positive, circumstances are neutral. It is our thinking, our mental state, our perspective, that makes a circumstance positive or negative.

Hermetic Principle of Polarity states that everything in the universe has it's opposite.

There would be no inside to a room without an outside. You have a right and left side to your body, a front and a back. Every up has a down and every down has an up. The Law of Polarity not only states that everything has an opposite -- it is equal and opposite. If it was three feet from the floor up to the table, it would be three feet from the table down to the floor. If it is 150 miles from Manchester to London, by law it must be 150 miles from London to Manchester; it could not be any other way.

If something you considered bad happens in your life, there has to be something good about it. If it was only a little bad, when you mentally work your way around to the other side, you will find it will only be a little good.

Using this example, when I find myself in trying circumstances I put the circumstance in the middle of a circle.  I then mentally walk around the circumstance until I'm on the other side.  Then I let my mind go to work examining things from that perspective.  And I'm never disappointed at what I find.

Example:  While the flat tire you have seems to be a negative circumstance to you, it’s a very positive circumstance for your local tire dealer. Looking even further it’s possible that while changing the tire the dealer discovers a much more serious problem that would have cost you a large sum of money if discovered later.

So it’s even more clear that every circumstance can be viewed two ways. It’s the way we view a circumstance that determines its impact on our thinking and mental state. And we know from James Allen’s teaching that that determines the quality of life that we live.

No matter how bad the circumstance appears to be, taking another look, from another perspective, reveals to us the good. Or, as Napoleon Hill, author of the classic Think and Grow Rich, wrote,

"Every adversity, every failure, and every heartache carries with it the seed of an equivalent or a greater benefit."

YOU GAIN STRENGTH OVERCOMING OBSTACLES

Sooner or later you'll encounter a crisis in your life, and how you meet it will determine your future happiness and success.  Since the beginning of time, everyone has been called upon to meet such a crisis.

Close scrutiny will show you that most "crisis situations" are opportunities to either advance or stay where you are.  Indeed, most changes in your life will be due to either "inspiration" or "desperation."

Whatever comes your way, give it meaning and transform it into something of value.  Personal growth is the process of responding positively to change.

A precious stone cannot be polished without friction, nor humanity perfected without trials.

Taurus: “I HAVE”
1st Decan Influence: "ATTRACTION"

April 20th – April 30th

In the first decan of Taurus the fiery nature of Aries is calmed by the green coolness of this Earth sign. Then emerges the Influence of the First Decan: "Attraction".

How important is it, magically, to be attractive?

In order to achieve our goals we must gather others around us to share these goals and work with us toward their achievement. In order to do this it is necessary to attract them and to do so we must be attractive.  Observe the Taurus native - sleek, clean, and appealing.  We first know people with our eyes and then later with our hearts.  If our eyes are offended, our hearts rarely seek to know.  The Taurus is an attractive person, like as not, and in this lays the virtue of this decan of the sign.

Law of Attraction says that which is like unto itself is drawn.  To be magically effective we must therefore  be aware of our thoughts and always be reaching for the thoughts that feel good – the signal that we are thinking, speaking or doing that which is in harmony with our inner nature – for these are the thoughts that will move us forward on our Path to Perfection.
