Hey, ok...I dunno if this is the right spot for this but I am lookin for some kind of help in regards to my 2 younger kids...and especially the 13 year old girl.....she is hanging with some "wrong" kids that are bad influences...and she has no clue as to why seems like or she just doesn't care...this went on last year and I got her away from the 2 girls that were the cause of it and now this year she is hanging with one of the 2 again and lying about it....she has taken a liking to boys and I feel this is going to get her and me in a situation she doesn't need to be in.....I use to go after school every day to pick her up and it got to the point she won't come to the car alone...always "has" to go to her "friends house" and sometimes she would call me from someones cell phone and say she is going to so and so 's house....I have been fighting with her daily, weekly, monthly etc...over this and now she has taken it apon herself to go with "a friend" to anywhere other than home after school for a day or 2 at a time .............I am ready to go off on her...and I already been back and forth with her counselor at school...only to be told " I cannot leave bruises" but I'll tell ya a little black and blue spots on her maybe she would listen.....I can't take it no more....I don't want to be the one to get a phone call with dreaded news......etc.....I am at the end of my rope and all the counselor says is call her in as a runaway.....yeah and end up in a whole new mess....
Is there some kind of help here.....besides prayers that will work.......I am already paying for this ....last july I sprained my ankle really bad and now they only find out I also dislocated and tore some ligaments and suggest surgery to correct it and why did I end up this way? cause of the ear piercing mouth she has on her to be heard from behind a closed door in the shower I tore open the door all wet and suds up ....to ring her neck cause I couldn't take the arguing......maybe it was a blessing had I didn't fall imagine the damage that girl would have gotten had I gotten to her neck!......
I am sure there are peeps here who have teens that are driving them insane....any suggestions would be appreciated....Thanks .... Sad  Evil or Very Mad

Oh Emerald, been there, done that, glad it's over!  My daughter was a bit of a "wildchild" herself, ok, that's a huge understatement......she was actually called demon spawn by an ex-friend of mine!  Keep your calm if you can when dealing with her.  Lay down the rules and the consequences when the rules are broken and follow through.  Let her rant and rave, but don't absorb her negativity or react with negativity yourself.  Just calmly restate the rules and the consequences and follow through.  I acutually voluntarily put my daughter in a program for juevenile deliquents where we both went for counseling, and because she was in the program, if she disappeared on me I could call the police and they would have to look for her and bring her home.  It was like, "if you wanna play hardball, so will I".  At the time I thought we would never have a loving relationship.  She moved in with an abusive boyfriend at 17.  The anxiety just about killed me, but then..........she wised up.  Yes, it can happen!  Broke up with the creep, and now has a charming boyfriend, just out of the military, who is charming and disciplined and is showing her a better way.  And our relationship is very, very close.  She realizes all the "stuff" that happened before was because I loved her and didn't want to see her get hurt.

Hang in there, Emerald.  It won't be easy and it won't be fun, but be like a weasel......get your teeth locked on and don't let go no matter how awful it gets.  Ask around and see if there aren't some programs available to help you through this.  Our counselor, "Linda" was a god-send for me.    Good luck.  Keep us posted, the castle is a good place to look for support.  Goddess Bless!

oh yes...I been rounds with this "friend" she has that I dealt with all last year also ....took a lot to deal with that and once she was away from her she was back to her old self....now for a long time I could tell she was hanging with her again cause her attitude changed BIG time....and takes off on weekends...thinking she can go hang with her friends cause I never let her blah blah blah.....you I am sure have an idea how bad I wanted to beat her ass....when she came in the house after being gone a few days no calls nothing......and all I get from the counselor is "u can't leave bruises"....I personally think that is what is needed to get her attention....but I "can't leave bruises".....anyhow....it's really gettin to the point that I am going to turn her in as a runaway I don't know what else to do ...and it is simple the things she cannot do....clean the room, clean the kitchen.....come home after school when I say no take it as I mean NO...that is too hard.....she thinks I got her on lockdown I guess....anyhow....
she doesn't call and when she does I don't answer the phone no more..she got into the habit of being gone then come home sick...dinks around late for school and I am the one that looks bad....but then I don't talk much to her or nothing ....and these 2 kids HATE that silent treatment..works with my mom but they push and push and push and I blow up....
