Stability: Harmony through Change
Written by Misty-Eve

The Buffalo is most commonly chosen as the totem animal for the sign of Taurus. The Buffalo has volumes of inner strength, surprising to those who may first misjudge the large, gentle eyes of the Buffalo Spirit as being one who is "weak" or otherwise "incapable," yet the contrary is true, as for one to be as selfless and giving as the Buffalo, there needs also be great rivers of emotional and spiritual fortitude.
The mighty Buffalo singularly reflects the most valuable resources of the Indian People because she offers up her own life so that they might live. She provided them with the meat with which to sustain their physical life, the hide to build their tipis and fashion warm blanket-coverings and clothing to see them through the frigid winters, and the glue and sinew needed for various instruments of necessity and worship.
It is said that when the Great Spirit called upon the Animals for one to serve as the sustainer of life to the People, it was the Buffalo who stepped forward and asked for the opportunity to give her physical life, so that many others might continue walking their spiritual Path.
Almost as evidence of such conscious and willing desire to be of selfless service, the Buffalo neither attempted to flee from the hunters, or to charge them in defense, though their own stature and weight would surely be no match for a two-legged. Thus do we learn a lesson of Stability from this staunch lot who provide us with so many valuable resources.
The Taurean female is docile, content, loving and giving. An attractive and beautiful animal, the Buffalo cow - reliable and predictable, she is one of the most beloved animals. Her friend is the bull, the same - but strong and powerful, dangerous only if unloved. For it is true with bulls, if you love them and are affectionate you can put a ring in their nose and lead them anywhere. While your bull can be led from the barn with love and tender words, it would be easier to move the barn than the bull otherwise.
Therefore, we feel influenced to use the tools of love and harmony to help us move the seemingly immovable.
When things are changing in my life, I often day-dream about the happy outcome that I wish to happen.
“Anything that you are wanting: don't stand in the lack of it and lament that it isn't there and expect it to come to you. It cannot. Find a little piece of it, a little string of it, a little trail of it, a little clue of it - look for something about it, and focus upon that little piece, and by Law of Attraction, watch it grow!”

How do you cope with changing situations?
Are you flexible enough to stay harmonious with the people in your life when everything seems to be changing?

HARMONY:
KEY To Understanding TAURUS
Harmony is the love catalyst, the thing that makes it happen and the thing that makes it work. The first lessons of the Gods Pan were the Arts of Harmony. Harmony is a thing that happens within, indefinable but identifiable by feeling. We only know of harmony when it happens, for then we feel it. In music we know it when we hear it. When playing in a musical group we know and feel it as we contribute to it, or when dancing - our movements together bring it to us.
Hence Pan has given us these two means of finding it together. No matter how diverse and different we may be personally, all people find harmony by the first two points of the Star of Wisdom -- Music and Dance. When we gather in festivals, we "make a joyful noise unto the Lord", and mingling our rhythms together we find joy rising in ourselves as harmony wells up within us.

STABILITY: QUOTES OF THE DAY

“There is nothing on earth you cannot have - once you have mentally accepted the fact that you can have it. See the things you want as already yours. Think of them as yours, as belonging to you, as already in your possession.”
~ Robert Collier (1885 - 1950) American motivational author
“The man who acquires the ability to take full possession of his own mind may take possession of anything else to which he is justly entitled.”
~ Andrew Carnegie (1835-1919) Scottish born American industrialist and philanthropist
“What a man IS contributes much more to his happiness than what he has. . . . . What a man is in himself, what accompanies him when he is alone, what no one can give him or take away, is obviously more essential to him than everything he has in the way of possessions, or even what he may be in the eyes of the world.”
~ Arthur Schopenhauer (1788 - 1860)

STABILITY: AWARENESS OF SOURCE
~ Abraham-Hicks
We think it would be a wonderful thing for you to be so actively aware of the vibration of Source that we just went right to it. In other words, if you were following the suggestions of your Inner Being, if you had practiced yourself subject by subject, leaning by leaning, fork by fork, into vibrational alignment with how your Source feels about you, in every moment,
Oh what a hypnotic trance that would be! You would walk around and you would be saying, whether you say it out loud or you say it to yourself, "I am a wonderful Being. There is nothing that I cannot achieve. The world addresses itself to me always in positive ways. Everything always works out magnificently for me. I live a charmed life. Things are supposed to and always do, go well for me. Seas part for me. I have the resources of the Universe at my disposal. I live in an environment where I am inspired to a new thought. And as soon as I give birth to it, things align in order to bring me the actualization or the manifestation of it.
I am an extension of Source Energy. I am God in a physical body and I am good. And because I am good, good things come to me. And if I am sick it is temporary because it is natural that I be well. And if I am not abundant of things that are important to me, it is temporary because it is natural that I be abundant. And there is nothing that I am supposed to do, but all kinds of things that I want to do... If you were listening to the hypnotic voice of your Source, you'd be constantly hearing the drum beating that says, "You are loved, and you are worthy, and you are valued and life is suppose to be good for you. You are worthy, you are valued, you are loved and life is supposed to be good for you." We want nothing more, than for you to begin listening for and train yourself into the vibrational hypnotic trance of Source Energy who knows your value.

TAURUS: “I HAVE”
3rd Decan Influence: STABILITY
May 11 – May 20
A staunch lot, these cattle! Firm, solid, stable. Your bull can be led from the barn with love and tender words but it would be easier to move the barn than the bull otherwise.
hen we use the word "stability" we often know it to mean inflexible and unmovable. The language gives us "intractable" for this. Stability does not really mean immovable. The mighty oak is immovable but not necessarily stable for in too great a wind it may, for all its mightiness, blow down. The reed standing in the marsh is, in a way, more stable than the oak, for when the gale blows it bends and when the evening calm falls again, it stands up once more, where it stood before.
Stability is the capacity to return to original position after being displaced. The wise person gives way under pressure, and then when it has passed, returns to his original position. Our Taurus people may seem stubborn sometimes, and being a little inflexible can be a problem. The ideal of stability does not imply inflexibility but an ability to go with the tide and return with ease.
Look around you for the beautiful ones, those who attract your eye. Apply the love which characterizes Venus and find the beauty within them. Let us learn of love from these firm and solid Taurus people and let us help them learn stability as apart from stubbornness. Relax in Taurus for now we begin to groom the Mother Earth as our Garden of Wisdom.
