Gemini Reasoning - To Stay or To Go

A friend of mine is trying to decide whether or not to sell his house now (in the current housing market) or wait until next year, when he thinks things may improve.
He is reasoning that of course the market will improve and the value of his house will go back up, and he'll be able to sell at a more reasonable price.
Normally, one would expect this to be the case. But things are changing.
Since the conjunction of the stars on December 25, 1970, we have been operating under a dual influence of both Pisces (To Belief) and Aquarius (To Know), due to these overlapping constellations. The dividing line has become more apparent as people move to support their influence-of-choice.
The Pisces reasoning: to Believe in the system that we have been operating under for the last 2000 years; to not question the old ways.
The Aquarian reasoning: to examine beliefs to see the truth of the matter so we can Know for ourselves; to break out of old patterns of thinking that aren't working to our benefit as a planet and as a people.
In the year 2012 we will finally move out from under the Pisces influence entirely. We will then only be feeling the influence of Aquarius along with it's ruler Uranus, the planet of change. (If you think things are changing fast now... just wait!)
What will change?
As the influence to Believe falls away, we will want to Know more and more from our own personal experience, rather than Believe what we've been told.

Global oil peak and the inevitable decline of fossil fuels are upon us now. Are today's suburbs destined to become the slums of the future because of their distance from work, groceries and other services?

My friend says: (quote) the latest government housing report says home values are in a free-fall. The estimated value of my house fell another -2.1 percent in the month ending May 22nd. Since May of 2007 my home's value has declined -15.3 percent. (end quote)
So he's decided to wait a little longer before selling.
My thoughts on this
EVERY TIME I've lived in a city, (and I've lived in many major US cities), it's always been a huge struggle to leave. Every time there has always been some wonderful job or beautiful opportunity that I would have to say good bye to in order to make this change. But each time I've set my determination to do what I want, and NOT let the city get hold of me so much that I can't make the changes I want to make. As I said, every time it's been a struggle a test of my determination.
During this time of Reasoning, weighing what IS, with possible outcomes, I realize I can't make his decisions for him. He must make his own choices, because I will reap some of his Karma if I get too involved.
But, I CAN Reason what I want to make of my own life, and make decisions for myself.
What's my Reasoning?
I think the time has come for me to do more practical living off the land, instead of spending so much time indoors writing and teaching.
The day is coming when we'll all be better off if we know practical living skills.
Toward that end, I have a garden started this year, and hope to improve the ground it's planted in this fall.
I have a wonderful hen house and chicken yard that was just built this spring. I have chickens ordered and I'll soon have little chickys
I'd like to raise a cute little pig for butchering later on, and making nice meat packages in my freezer.
I'm in the process of learning how to fish, and I'd like to learn how to hunt, and track game.
I'd like to build an underground house and a greenhouse for my garden planets, as well, as protection from the heat of global warming, and the resulting extreme temperature changes that may plague us for a time.
So much to do... and so little time! Wouldn't it be nice to be born already KNOWING what you want to do with your life while you're young enough to do it?!!!
Ah well, you have to do what you can with what you have, where you are that's my Reasoning.
At least I'm in a place where I can do those things... that's a BIG advantage over living in Los Angeles where I was for 7 years before I moved back to the Ozark Hills, here in Arkansas.
What's YOUR reasoning for where you are living now?
Perhaps it's time to give it some thought.

The three influences for Gemini follow as keys to our thinking nature. We find "Reason" as the first influence in the think tank. This decan (or 10 day period) is the cardinal phase of Gemini. A function of the conscious mind, it is reason that sets the human apart and makes us the recipient of the sentience now in our time as Masters of the Earth. The word is derived from the Latin - "Ratio" - meaning "to reckon" and that's about it.
Reasoning is the ability to calculate and to draw conclusions.
Look about your circle of friends and acquaintances. Are any of them a Gemini? Observe them and see them reason to conclusions - it is an ability these Gemini's have in abundance. We can learn from them and know that it is by reason that we can all function as humans for it is one of the greatest gifts of our thinking.
