Gemini says No Problems, No Thinking

We're born into this life with a certain set of weaknesses to overcome and a certain set of strengths to acquire. The circumstances of our lives are such to teach us about these self qualities.
Many people think the goal in life is to get to a place where there are no more problems. I tend to disagree with that perspective because without problems we become stagnant. I've heard it said as I reach full maturity and begin to consider old age, that we should never be without a project to complete, because once we've done everything we want to do, we then have no reason to live, and many folks will cross over at that point. Retirees tell me always have a project waiting in the wings.
In the Druidic Craft, we say, keep a list of the goals we'd like to achieve so you always have something to work on next. Maybe that's one of the reasons for this.
Life is full of problems to be solved, and this is why we're here to learn to think in a way that produces the changes we'd like to see.
Father Eli used to say that without problems there would be no thinking. Problems are there to help us move forward by thinking them through and deciding on the best way to proceed.

Yesterday was final exams for the High Schoolers in the area. One of the ladies I was working with received a phone call that her son had been caught cheating, and she was wanted at the school. She discovered he'd gotten a text number for a `homework solutions' hot-line which would tell him the answer to whatever question he asked and he was caught doing this during the test.
OMG! Was his Reasoning being tested?
What problem are YOU wrestling with?
Do you find that your REASONING is being tested?
Let's try an experiment:
Write your problem at the top of a sheet of paper.
Now make 2 columns under it. Label one PROS and the other CONS. Then write everything you can think of that falls in either column. Give everything a number from 1-5 that indicates it's weight on the scales. When you discover which column carries more weight, you've arrived at your answer.
Sometimes it helps to imagine yourself as being the most loving person you can think of ... the ideal nature of Love ... and then ask yourself... "What would Love do now? What would this ideal loving nature do in this situation?"
After you've made a decision, then the time is right to begin dreaming about the outcome.
What's the outcome you wish to see happen? Have you thought it through? Have you made a decision?
Has your Reasoning helped you to determine a direction?

1st Decan Influence: "REASON"

The three influences for Gemini follow as keys to our thinking nature. We find "Reason" as the first influence in the think tank. This decan (or 10 day period) is the cardinal phase of Gemini. A function of the conscious mind, it is reason that sets the human apart and makes us the recipient of the sentience now in our time as Masters of the Earth. The word is derived from the Latin - "Ratio" - meaning "to reckon" and that's about it.
Reasoning is the ability to calculate and to draw conclusions.
Look about your circle of friends and acquaintances. Are any of them a Gemini? Observe them and see them reason to conclusions - it is an ability these Gemini's have in abundance. We can learn from them and know that it is by reason that we can all function as humans for it is one of the greatest gifts of our thinking.

Imagination is a tool of the soul. Our imagination gives us the opportunity to 'try on' new qualities and perspectives in our life. Through imagination, we can explore our past, problems, patterns, processes, plans, perceptions, principles, passions and purpose to uncover new possibilities.
Without imagination, we stay stuck in the realm of the material, the past, the superficial and the literal. We remain one-tracked, instinctual and one-dimensional.
Our imagination comes from the soul, subconscious and senses. Only through our imagination can we become multidimensional, experience more love, create more beauty, manifest more results, change our conditions, rewrite the past, and connect with divinity, purpose and others.
