I found the Herbal Tarot deck for a fabulous price at my haunt, Half Price Books (they have a bitchin' metaphysical section, which always changes!). However, the deck has no lwb. Just the cards. Which is fine for a regular Rider-Waite style interpretation. I am probably going to do my footwork and go through the different herbs and write my own "notes" (since I really do read more intuitively anyhow). I was wondering, however, if anyone knows anything about this deck? There is a companion book that goes with it, but I suspect it is out of print. Is it worth getting the book (for over $100 bucks!!! )? Or should I just do my own footwork and come up with my own thing? (Okay, I REALLY know the answer to this, but I'm lookin' for some backup. )

Seamonster,

I have the book and deck available at the Amazon store with my library..you can buy them seperately or together...

www.amazon.com/shops/pagan_kitchen

And for alot less than $100.00

It's a wonderful deck, and has alot of herbal info.....you will enjoy it...

Okay, I did.  I couldn't help myself.   But, if Mr. K finds out I bought it right now, I'm doooomed!   Shhhhhhh!  (zip)   I have been looking at the cards, and really, the standard interpretations apply as they really are in the traditional RW style.  I will do some of my own research, but it will just be easier for this lazy old woman to see what the artist/author's intentions were.  Then I can form my own conclusions.  I really love the deck.  Its beautiful and very much designed with the herbal witch in mind.  8 Bucks.  That's all I paid for them!!  *sigh*.
