Last night when I went to bed I was thinking about this forum..
It have been a long time since I know this website (and msn group before, yeh I know you guys for yearsss!) but because of my bad english I'm not that active...English is my third language, well at least it's better then my second language (french, bah!) but still.. it's difficult. �
Anyways, I feel really home here... though I don't know you guys IRL and almost don't talk to you, still in some way - by reading this website, there is understanding and respect. Everyone is so nice and helpfull, there is a lot knowledge to learn... it just keeps my religion alive and I want to thank you all for this. �(witchfly)

Actually Drya, your English is a lot better than some of the people I have to deal with on my job- and they were born here in the states  To be only 19 years old and to know that many languages says a lot about your determination and willingness to commnicate with other people. I have always wanted to learn other languages, but I lack the time to devote to it and I especially lacked the patience when I was your age. I applaude your determination. With your inteligence and determination, I really think you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to. I also agree with you that its great to communicate with the folks here. Personally, this forum is my only communication with others on a similar spiritual path. I only know one other person locally with  similar beliefs and I only see him maybe 2 to 3 times a year.

Greetings Drya, I know just what you mean.  I love coming here to read the forum posts and post my own thoughts.  It is a very friendly and welcoming place.  My partner's family is Dutch, I hope at some point to learn at least a little Dutch.  I would love to be able to talk with his Nan in her mouther tongue.  I am sure she misses her home country, her family and speaking Dutch.  She is 86 now, and has been living here (Australia) for well over 30 years.

Drya, you put into words the way I feel also.  The forums here are a great source of nurture and comfort.  I don't have anyone locally who follows the same path, and my friends here in the castle mean a great deal to me.  Glad you spoke up!

By the way, my son has been to Europe twice now and Amsterdam is his favorite city.  He just loved the feel of the place and the people were very friendly and hospitable.

Drya, and everyone else, I am so thankful for this website. �I started out here to learn more of the path of my closest friend, but have found wonderful friendships and appreciate the fact that I am welcome here even though I am Christian. �I come here daily (sometimes 2 - 3 times) to see who's here and what I might have missed. �I am always amazed how much effort goes into making one feel welcome and appreciated. �I'm really glad to meet you in all of your languages.
