LEO's influence of LIGHT

Do you look for the Light? Or do you look for the Darkness?
Which do YOU find to put your attention on as you go about your day?
There are two ways to look at everything. The glass is either half-full or half-empty. Every coin has two sides. Every cloud has a silver lining. To which do you direct YOUR attention?
Once upon a time I asked an employer if he would consider giving me a letter of recommendation. So I typed one up, as a sample, thinking of every possible positive way to look at everything I'd done for him.
He's one of the many who tend to remember only the bad things even after they've been corrected, so I wanted to give him a more positive point of view even if he didn't sign it. Sure enough, the moment he finished reading it I could hear a more positive tone in his voice. He took it home with him, possibly to further consider what I'd said. The next day he was smiling, and acting more bright and chipper than I'd seen him in a while.
What a difference a positive view of events makes!! Sometimes we get so wrapped up in all the darkness that we overlook the light.
Since he is such was such a devout Christian I was always trying to think of ways to reach him through Christian thought. I played with some different ideas that I thought he might understand
"and all that God created was good."

One of the church bill boards said "Good minus God equals O". How true this is. If you consider that God is good and every thing created by our Creator is good, then there has to be good in every situation that might arise. It is our challenge to find it, even though we are given our free will to see it how ever we choose.
Since he was so big on `witnessing' God's work, I could also point out that if God is good then we can only witness God's work by observing the good in every situation. On the other hand, if we're only seeing the bad in our circumstances, then who are we really witnessing for?
If a person focused only on the things that happened during my employment with him that were less than he desired, then I would only see these not-so-good things. However, if I remembered that no matter what he found fault with I tried to understand and change accordingly, then I can find a more positive "glass-half-full" observation that, though I may not have been able to anticipate what he wanted, I was also eager to understand and always tried to comply with his wishes.
It's funny how things work out. I liked that job at the doctor's office, but I'm glad I work elsewhere now. I love what I'm doing immensely better! Now I can put my computer skills to work at the newspaper making ads, and doing layout, editing things to make more sense, arranging things to look pretty on the page. I love it!
So I know that, even though my previous relationship didn't work out. There will be someone coming who I know I'm going to enjoy even more.
Things are always changing - for the better. God never closes a door without opening a window. The path is not blocked. It's merely changed direction. The trick is to stop looking at the closed door and have the strength to turn around and look for the opening that is re-directing your path.
Do you look for "what's wrong" or "what's right"? It's just as easy to see the glass as half-full rather than half-empty, but which observation leaves you feeling good, and at peace?
Do you look for the Light, or for the Darkness? Which feels better?

INTO THE LIGHT OF GOOD FEELINGS
It is never too late to find a good feeling place about anything. Things will constantly change to match the feeling you have inside.
Each point of view matters, every request is granted and, as this amazing Universe unerringly expands, there is no end to the Universal resources that fulfill these requests. And, there is no end to the answers to the never-ending stream of questions - and, for that reason, there is no competition. It is not possible for someone else to receive the resources that were meant for you and, you cannot selfishly squander resources that were intended for someone else. All desires are answered, all requests are granted, and no one is left unanswered, unloved, or unfulfilled. When you stay aligned with your Energy Stream, you always win - and somebody else does not have to lose for you to win. There is always enough!
The balance that you are wanting to bring into your life experience is the balance of appreciating you. And you appreciate you.... not all at once on the big things, you appreciate yourself: One thought by one thought, One segment by one segment, One moment by one moment... by looking for reasons to appreciate yourself and everything around you.
Everything is about the law of attraction. Which means, everything is about 'inclusion.' There is no such thing as 'exclusion' you can't look at something and say no, no, I do not want that and have it go away. This is because your attention to it causes you to vibrate with it, and by law of attraction it then comes to you. So when you say yes to something, it comes. When you say no to something, it comes. There is really no such thing as NO in this universe. Everything is about inclusion. And so, your work as a deliberate creator is to sift thru the data and define or decipher or decide or choose those things you are wanting to include in your experience, and only give attention to those things.
When you pay attention to the way that you feel, what you are going to notice is your emotions are your guidance system that let you know how you are vibrating. And it is so important to understand that, because when you know how you are vibrating, then you understand everything that is coming to you.

LEO's 3rd influence shines with "Light". In this decan we are referring to light through the words Knowledge, Inspiration, and Enlightenment. This latter word is interesting for it contains the word light within itself. Leos are often enlightened and the rest of us also feel this influence and desire to obtain enlightenment during this decan of Leo.
Inspiration is the key to enlightenment. Inspiration is that wonderful knowing that comes to us when the light of the Creators shine in upon us. The enlightened person is the one through whom the wisdom of the God and Goddess shine, and this makes them glow with love, strength, wisdom and beauty.

Do you look for the Light? Or do you look for the Darkness?
