Hello everyone-
I have a report i am doing and i need some help
I need a comprehensive, informative, and trusted site with information on paganism/witchcraft. My paper is on the evolution of paganism/witchcraft in this day and age from the past and am stumped for a place to start looking that is trusted with information by witches of today.
any ideas
thank you all in advance
I hope you all are doing well....

Well, that's a really big topic. My first piece of advice is to narrow it down unless you are intending to publish a 20 volume book series, start with a really narrow topic and work from there. It's easier to expand a topic than to narrow it. Here is an example of a more specific way to narrow this topic (http://libres.uncg.edu/ir/uncg/listing.aspx?styp=ti&id=2274). Now, you probably don't need to be this thorough--I know this professor and he basically sweats knowledge and intelligence. But, you do need to pick a specific topic like this.

Second, if you are doing a paper for a class, you are going to need to use scholarly resources more than just websites. You can use some websites such as this to give a primary source account of present opinions, but you cannot base an entire paper off of websites and pass a class.

My third piece of advice is that you start with research in the library. If you are in college, talk to a reference librarian to help you get some information--it's actually their job to help you do research. Since you are in NC according to your profile, you may have access to NC Live through your public library (http://www.nclive.org/index.phtml). This will give you access to scholarly works online, plus they have an online chat box in which you can talk to a librarian to help you find information. I actually work for NC Live chat through my library on occasion, but there are many librarians accross the state that do this as well.

Also, check out google scholar for information as well. It's a really easy way to find peer reviewed information if you don't have access to a library.

If your paper's due date is soon, that you need to pick something very specific that you have access to. Mybe something like the role of fashion in the neopapgan movement? Does this give you some idea of where to start?
