hi everyone,
just a note to say that i am still alive (for those looking for me). work has been hard at the moment with a lot of overtime going on so unfortunately my spiritual side hasn't been as active in a research or ritual way as of late (i have been helping my best friend who is also my boss through very stressful time at work). was wondering if anyone knew of any good pick me up rituals/oils/recipes etc that may give me a bit of a boost at the moment. hormones are haywire and could either shout house down or sleep ( feel a bit like my cat at the moment - possible reflection of emotions?????)

love to all and be back soon

Any of the citrus oils will lift you right up, along with rosemary or ginger.  Just put a few drops of a combination in your tub and you'll feel a lot better.  While you are bathing, close your eyes and relax your body bit by bit, then imagine yourself being filled with a shimmery golden light that gives you energy.   Smile

I'm guessing that works for cabin fever also???  When it's either too cold or too icy to go outside, I start feeling edgy.  Ok, who's kidding, I'm a downright bitch that makes her family miserable.

glad to know its not only me then!!! recently been in bed by 9.30pm with cup of tea, hot water bottle and book (reading eclipse of the twilight series which is soooooo good, much better than movies!!) and trying to keep the draughts in house at bay. can't wait for weekend when i get to collect a package (depending on weather) which may kick start mood as it contains items to start making more jewellery again. just wish i had a nice open fire to curl up next to with a nice baileys and brandy. oh just had thought, i am heading to my mothers next weekend to babysit her new puppy whilst she is in poland and can do baths/fire/nice drink combo there!!! well here's to focusing on that for a while!!!!!

we have just had news here in n.ireland that we may be having our bad weather till march so please keep the comments coming!!!!!!

I'm glad that someone else is reading the twlight series besides me.  I'm embaressed to tell anybody else I'm reading them.  My husband got me the first 2 books for christmas and now I'm half thru 'Breaking Dawn'.  Ok, I had to go buy the last 2 books.
This winter, when the weather starts getting too cold, I'm going to start some of my seeds for the spring.  Hopefully, watching new green seedlings grow under a warm light will keep me sane.  And, apparently, the ice is helping me with fresh air.  Today, I had to literally chase our truck down the icy drive-way.  We live on a hill.  I wish I had a video-tape of the incident.  Thankfully, no one, or thing was hurt or dented.  Just a good laugh... Laughing
What else are people doing to survive this winter???

I read all the twilight books, they are really good compared to some vampire books I have read, On another note I too have been feeling the yuckiness of being trapped in the house, or freezing to death. It looks so pretty out the window. I can't wait for the frozen season to be gone.  (snow)
