A few days ago, I made my first real wand, I'm so happy!

I made it out of beech, carved a bit of a rounded point on it, and wrapped metal around the wand. It looks awesome for something I thought I could not make!

I can not post a photo of it unfortunately, but if I can I will. I'm so happy with it, and I'm going to put it to good use, that's for sure

Are there more people, who make there own wands?

I made my first one myself out of an old friend of a willow. My favorite, not that I 'use' any tool much.

I also have one an old friend on here carved for me out of hedge, celtic knotwork on the handle and a spiral for the wandy part (is there a technical term for that part of a wand?    )and I graced the center of the spiral in the knotwork with some moonstone I had, so between both of us, it packs one helluva bite!

Thats great Kagu, I would love to see pictures of it. Beech is a wonderful wood, to work with, and to use.
