Ok, I know there are lots of you in the castle who are having a time due to the devestation in Haiti.

Alot can handle it, and do so with braveity, others, however, might be having a severely hard time right now.

Either way, here's a good place to share your experiences, or just offer each other a shoulder to lean on.  

Please, remember one thing DO NOT send anyone energies without prior permission!!! (Sorry, I know we've said this a trazillion times, but can't be said enough!)(To the folks in Haiti however, feel free as they need all they can get at the moment, not only the people, but Mother herself.)

Empaths/Sensitives are a weird breed, soemtimes you can send someone over the top with just one extra tidbit of energies that they weren't expecting! (I know!   )

I'm going to do my best to be around as much as I can right now, but please forgive if I get quiet, or overbabble, times are kinda rough for me in this department  at the moment.

You know, I fight this 'job', this 'gift' (still want the fuckin' coffeemaker instead!! ) especially in times like this, but it is also times like these that remind me just how lucky I am. (Now remind me I said this when I am trying to erase the images of a mangled child from my cosmic brain! not the tv images either, as I have yet to turn on a channel!)

Thank you Ms. Novia. As always, you are there when it matters the most. And you are a pro with dealing with this sort of thing....

I am doing rather well, and sending the proper energies, as I can spare them. and being quite protective of myself so that the energies don't make me too vulnerable.

Tis a wonderful time to be alive on the planet, albiet  one of change, and extremes of both joy and sadness....but as we adapt, many will choose to move on....and their choice willnot be a concious one, but one of the Soul. The time we have here is short, make the most of every moment for it is a gift.....given only to you.

 :!:  What the Puck is going on over there now? Is it not bad enough that people are dying from the disaster itself, but now, I get a feeling people are killing people!

Fighting over supplies? lack of better things to do? Just being bad assholes?

You know, so much focus is going on within the city, but what about those poor forgotten souls outside the city, they need found too!!!!  I mean, sure the souls have moved on, but still, they deserve to be laid to rest, and buried where they lay sure as hell don't count!!!!

I have gotten, for the most part, to the numb point, unless I deliberately, which I know makes no sense, let it in.    

Now, the anger is beginning to flow. It's the normal grief cycle.   It's about to start getting a whole helluva lot uglier in the near future there.

How sad that tragedy always seems to beget tragedy.  This is the human condition!  We talk so much about peace in the world, but during situations like this its hard to see it.  People get desperate.  We had the same thing happen here in Katrina.  The sad thing is that people who have positions tend to pick and choose who gets to survive it and who doesn't.  

I see where you're coming from Novia.  When the tsunami hit in 2004, I watched a lot of news, and the pictures I have formed in my head about the children who are lost make me even to this day sick to my stomach.  I have not watched one single news program yet about Haiti.  
But, I'm not very good at this, maybe this might help you feel a little, itsi, bitsi bit better??
Our small city, raised a lot of money, I believe the various campaigns together must be over at least 100,000 and may be over 200,000.  From my view, and I recognize why it's different for you, there are a lot of caring people still out in the world.
