Omg!  I moved to a new thread! ^_______^  lol

I do have a question concerning lemons so I figured here is as good a spot as any.

What are some good spell/ritual uses for lemons?

yes, I know they are good at cleaning and smell awesome too.  I was just wondering what some of their properties were in the spell sense.

Thanks bunches!

This is what I've got from Cunningham's Encyclopedia of magical herbs
gender: feminine
planet:  moon
element: water
Powers:  longevity, purification, love, friendship

Shortened version, it talks about washing magical items by hand with the lemon juice, water to clean them of negative vibrations (in the case of second hand objects), putting it in your bath water during a full moon.
Lemon pie served to your spouse helps strengthen fidelity.  Given to friends to ensure friendship.
Lemon and pins charm to hang your house (unripe lemon, lots of pins to make it bristling, yellow pins the best, do not use black).
A lemon can be used as a poppet.

I would think, given the lemon's physical/healing properties, that it could be used magickally in the same way (well, sort of).  I think, one could use lemons for purification/cleansing purposes.  Because they are a "sunshine" fruit, you could use them for banishing depression or bringing happiness.  I think they would also be pretty good for friendships and things of that nature.  Because of their sour flavor, you could use them to indicate "someone" who is sour that you wish to make sweeter (i.e. using sugar!)  Use your imagination, hon.  That's what makes spellcasting so fun!

^___^  I'll try it out and let y'all know what happens.
