So, I mentioned in the coffee chat a few weeks ago that a mom stray cat brought her six kittens to my apartment and promptly hid them in my closet. Well, another stray cat decided to actually have her 5 kittens in my closet. Presently, I have 11 kittens, two stray mom cats, and my male cat living with me. I've taken some pictures, and I envy that you will all be able to enjoy them without worrying that I am going to make you adopt one of the kittens.
You are very blessed to be a "Queen" (A female Mother cat). There are many messages in this event for you my dear. Look up cat and see what kind of message it has for you in Our Encyclopedia. Maybe do a meditation and see if "Cat" speaks to you.....
Your little ones are precious.....I know youw ill have no problem finding a home for them...but as they grow into discovering new places...it might be a good idea to child-proof your home. You will have little galloping felines everywhere!
I would call and speak to those around you and show them pictures of your youngins. So you have a better chance of finding them homes.....I bet you end up keeping one (or more) of them!!
Love you girl....and thank you for sharing such precious babies.....there is something so amazing about wee ones....of any species!
If you cant explain it simply, you dont understand it well enough.-- Albert Einstein
Thanks for the positive energy everyone! Three out of eleven have been claimed so far. I've moved them out of my closet (my male cat lost his patience witih the ordeal), and I have moved them into a kitty corral behind my sofa. It's funny--when my old female cat died, I decided I was not going to have any animals after Thomas. I remember even stating that to people aloud. I guess God disagreed, and is getting a good laugh in right now.
LE, I looked up the entries for "cat," and I can only hope that they are true. I Kabbalah, the physical world is viewed as a metaphor for higher realities, and if that is true, placing 14 cats into my life is practically a neon sign. Right now, I am mostly frightened of not being able to find homes for them, not having the money to pay for them, and being evicted for having too may cats. I love cats, but I really don't want to be the crazy cat lady. I mean really--Who has things like this happen outside of fairy tales?
I'll probably be posting more pics tomorrow. Even if they are a terrible responsibility, they are disgustingly cute.
Well Stacey you sure have both hands full with that lot. Good luck with them. I have no doubt that you'll find homes for them. My mom used to take every stray animal that came along, at one point it was more like a cat hotel than a back yard. LMAO

Though they go mad they shall be sane,
Though they sink through the sea
they shall rise again;
Though lovers be lost love shall not;
And death shall have no dominion.

Oooooooooooooooh, soooooooo KA-YOOT, Stacey!!!!!! Good thing I'm in the Midwest, as we already have 3 cats! Our white one was sitting in a moonlit spot at my back door several months ago. I'd even promised myself no more cats, but I lied!!! And THANK YOU for sharing!!!
