new computer models show mexico, they really dont need this but at least away from the oil. If a storm pushes the oil into the marshes, that will be the greatest enviromental disaster the world has ever seen. Already bad, such a beautiful eco system dying already.

This well-blowout and the environmental disaster that is playing out is taking its toll on me. I haven't been myself in weeks....I am so horrified and saddened. I went out to my Circle in the backyard a week or so ago and cried my eyes ourt for our Mother Earth and Gulf of Mexico and its shores. How could we be so greedy, so uncaring, of the being on which we live.....HOW??????????????????

I email senators, executives, groups, and do what I can, but "it" isn't even close to being over yet. A hurricane season with a very high probability of at least one storm hitting the coast of LA has me worried even more....not that I should move, but of the terror that will literally rain down upon us.

This summer will change the course of the global economy and the ecological impact will also affect the world as a whole. The food chain will be interrupted. All life will be affected.

Never again will we see, in our lifetimes, the pristine beaches and delicate marshes of our coast. Never again.....if that doesn't make you want to go green, and become more active in becoming so....you don't belong in my Circle....

Oh.....the horror.... the cries of pain......the suffering.....and it's only just begun.

Very well said LE. I use to few words. But you know how Pi$$ed off this makes me. Not to mention what will happen if a hurricane hits. I am getting to old for this.

I don't think it is a question of IF a hurricane will churn this mess up, just a question of when, and how much of a punch it will pack. I tend to believe they will have a couple of them make landfall in La. within the next month to six weeks, and it is going to make Katrina pale in comparison when it does.
Some people shouldn't be allowed to play with their own toys. BP is definitely on the short list/bus.

What BP has done is horrifying and not there would ever be a  good time for such an ecological disaster, but for it to happen before hurricane season....my heart aches with the thought of what the future holds afterwards...the damage that well have been done. My prayers for our mother and her children, for the future....
