particularly valerian.
I harvested mine yesterday, chopped it up and left it out to dry, this morning it was white and fuzzy Sad
Scrubbed them up with a mild soapy mixture and popped them in the oven real low, will be drying all day. What else should be done, or what else should be used, in this situation?

Wet or humid day when you harvested them?
The roots should be okay now, if they are really dry.

I wonder if it was too wet to harvest also.  Seems like roots especially are prone to mold, but putting them in a really low oven like you did was the best thing I could think of.  I can't dry roots any other way here in the northeast.
