You know sometimes finding a 'subject line' to give random babbling is a task! Just saying.....

So I find myself sitting on top of a mountain, basking in the glorious sunshine, overlooking, devastation, nothingness, but inherent beauty if you look beyond the ruin. A field of an old lava flow lies on the valley floor beneath where I stopped on my stroll to rest. Actually not even sure how I ended up here, just found myself sitting here, oddly enough. Leaning against boulder, I realize I'm not alone, Micheal stands atop the boulder overlooking the same scene that lies below. People wander aimlessly searching for something amid the chaos of the stones below. What are they searching for I wonder?

A shadow casts over me, I look up and above me flies a glorious dragon, shimmiering black, with wings of vibrant reds and golds. I see something falling, and just in front of me a single drop of his blood has fallen to the ground. It melds into the stone, becoming one with it. Why would the dragons be doing battle?

Something below in the valley beneath catches my eye. There, a crack is forming, glowing magma once again is flowing thru this new formed crack. The people, they head towards it. Is this what they have been searching for. Did they know that it would once again open up?

They stand at the pecipace of the gaping wound in the Earth. One by one, they jump! I cannot believe the horror that I am seeing. I jump to my feet to scream, but Michael puts his sword upon my shoulder, puts his finger to his lips, and becons me to sit, and be silent. WHY???

I don't understand why he stands by idoly as these people jump into the fire that seathes from this gaping wound in the earth. Is it not his job to protect us, even is it only from our own stupidness?

It is not the responsibility of others to determine what is right or wrong for mankind, it is mankind responsibility to take responsibility for their own actions, good or bad. �It is the job of those who know, to understand that sometimes we can't always understand, in the moment, but in time, understanding will come.

I look closer, some that I had clearly seen jump into the wound, have remerged, somehow, the same, yet different. These fires, are not fires that consume, but the fires that we need to sometimes plunge into to cleanse something from our selves.
