Laura, place the avatar on your computer and try it from there. If it is the wrong size, it will tell you. We don't allow images to be uploaded from internet sites for avatars due to bandwidth isses.

Can you show me how to create a signature like the moving pencil ?

The signature is a picture that someone made for me about 5 years ago. I am sure you can look up the program on line and download it. I am not sure what it would even be called tho.

Maybe another member has more information on finding the application.

I use photobucket. There it shows you how to apply them to the site as well.

My avatar is not showing up. I went to my profile page and changed it. Still no avatar. There's only a diamond near my name. Now watch since I wrote this, it'll show up! lol But if it doesn't.......Help please!

Is your avatar from your computer, or from our galleries? Did you scroll down and click the confirm after you chose it? I need a bit more information.... We do not allow linking from off-site avatars because of bandwidth theft.
